It's also kind of funny to see these Nazi bootlickers portray the Winter War as some kind of Russian invasion even though Ukrainians made up a substantial part of the Soviet forces and one of the Red Army field marshals was Tymoshenko, a Ukrainian.

Also Side note: Natopedia is trash and depicts the Finish sniper Simo as the greatest sniper ever even though Finnish historians have acknowledged that most of his "kills" are unconfirmed. Soviet WW2 snipers are orders of magnitude more impressive.

Can someone explain the whole Dasha/Red Scare pod thing? Last I recall was her doing the Sailor Socialism thing back in 2018 (feels like a lifetime ago now). Then hearing something about her becoming a tradcath a couple years later.

Question, but how could Hitler to turn east towards the USSR if Poland is in the way? Unless they expected the Poles and Nazis to collaborate? or did they believe he wouldn't invade France and do the USSR next? Is there any evidence of this?

The background codex for Earth literally states that the rich are getting richer and the poor are getting poorer. I believe they also imply that African countries still haven't advanced much because they are still being exploited.

Currently near the end of Atomic Heart. So far I've been really enjoying the game. I haven't seen anything explicitly anti-Communist yet like I was expecting so that's good. There are so many Soviet 50s - 80s references that my parents would probably love this game if they actually played videogames.

I'll probably play Mass Effect next since I haven't done a playthrough of that trilogy in like a decade. I kind of hate the Human background lore of Mass Effect since it's basically neoliberalism 150 years into the future, but seeing how bland sci fi games are nowadays like Star Citizen or Starfield really made me miss Mass Effect.

I hope nobody here is dumb enough to actually believe this. The claim originates from Simon Sebag Montefiore, one of those "communism killed trillions" people and was reported in a local tabloid. I honestly have never read a Stalin biography, even an anti-communist one, that ever mentioned this.

Safe to say that this is another one of those right wing smear campaigns like "Che killed gay people" and many others.
