Ooh that is significant difference,
I saw couple of almost pure white from previous posts, so owl from this seemd to have more specks.

But this is night & day difference in not only quantity but size also.

Young ones are like polar explorers in fur coat with snow goggles (like black eye piercing trough tiny holes).

Thank You for the info, I appriciate it.
As a kid/youg adult I read the books which kind of made me want an owl as a pet.
Later, reading about movies consequences, I was ashamed of younger(harry potter craze era) me.

As Your link lead sto private group I couldn't see facebook image, but by Your description and Your previous snow owl images this should be an lady owl.

He's predominately Apple product repair guy, but he's also right to repair advocate.

And he likes to rant about brands that are generally against consumer rights (and common sense).

Hi,

Comparing to leptiri.hr I think I identified this moth to be of macdunnoughia confusa: https://leptiri.hr/Noctuidae/Macdunnoughia-confusa

For sanity I wanted to do a double check if I'm right, so lemmings please help with verification of this moth from central Croatia, Europe.

Tnx

Location: Europe, Croatia, Slavonija

It has nice black and white spotted wings and black abdomen with two yellow stripes at begining and about three quaters of length.

I would guess this a sort of moth, but could not find corresponding sort on leptiri.hr

Any information is much appreciated.

Why YSK: Searching topcs on reddit was simple matter of entering desired term and prepending or appending keyword reddit. With lemmy's decentralised structure finding particular topic without knowing to which, or rather if even there is community dealing with such topic(s) can be a headache inducing hurdle. So appending simple:

~~site: lemmy.*~~

site:lemmy.*

to Your google search feature can ease up search.

P.S.

to avoid certain domains You can use e.g.:

~~-site: beehaw.org~~

-site:beehaw.org
