Even as a Christian myself, I don't see the purpose of televangelism. (except grifting believers for money) Really the only hope you have of convincing someone to take your religion seriously that isn't fear or violence is directly connecting to them. Like, genuinely forging a friendship where conversion is not even really a thing you're thinking about. You can't do that over TV. At best, these guys are only for people who already believe, and then they can just go to church and get a more personal experience there. Everyone else probably already knew this, but I guess televangelism is really just exploiting popular religion in order to make tons of money of desperate, lonely people.
"Unlike the radical left, we will not weaponize the legal system against political enemies... unless they're actually vaguely left-leaning in which case EXTERMINATE!"
That's because there is no "real" definition of kind. Genesis describes creating each animal and them reproducing according to their kind. So they took poetic language and tried mapping it directly into a scientific term. It's similar to how creation had to take place in seven days because the Bible uses the word "day" which corresponds to the Hebrew word "yom" which only ever in the history of the language referred to a 24-hour period. I suppose the Bible does specify "evening and then morning" but the other description is how they tried to teach it to us.
I've had some leaders who would cede that were are to be good stewards of the earth, so maybe don't set fire to forests... while defending the people destroying forests and other ecological structures.
Not sure that I have full-blown arachnophobia, but he looks kinda cute. If he kept his distance I could probably tolerate being near 'em.
Ah yes, vanity is infamously described as putting yourself in danger of losing everything in order to make a statement in favor of people who are hurting.
US: constantly threatens to undermine and destroy China Also US: Why would China spy on us??
I'd mostly agree, but it sounds like the dude just sat there while she poured fuel on him, and when she made the threatening gesture, decided in was in everyone's best interest to continue egging her on. I feel like I would have been fleeing when she started trying to pour the fuel. Or I just wouldn't make a misogynistic comment, but whatever I guess.
Try not to blame marginalized people challenge: IMPOSSIBLE
Like seriously, I get her saying that there are other issues to work on, but like, do you think the people would have voted for a trans woman if they didn't think trans rights and representation are important? Stand up if not for yourself then for all the other folks these guys are coming after with your implicit permission!
Seriously, after being called "threat to democracy," "nazi," "dictator," etc. I don't know why "weird" seems to be so offensive to them.

I love the House Republicans who said after their first vote that there were things in it they hated and that if they could do it over again, they would, who also proceeded to vote for it the second time 'round. Honestly this shit is making me contemplate figuring out firsthand if there's an afterlife, but something about keeping promises and miles to go.
