It depends on the region, in my area of the US we had a Ring Ceremony formal in 10th grade for people getting their rings. Then Junior Prom in 11, and Senior Prom in 12th.

I sorta remember a "homecoming" formal also but can't remember where that fit in.

And according to Hollywood accounting not a single movie has ever made a profit...

I would be surprised if supermarket's profit margins are actually as low as they all claim.

Exactly, Obama was decent but was still into a lot of the corruption that plagues US politics.

FIRST, go take a safety/training course. Get your license and PRACTICE, probably for several years. become proficient in every situation you might face.

Then worry about exploring S.A. or other places in the world.

Yeah, unfortunately they lived by the boomers with extra cash, and they'll die with those same boomers. I don't remember the last time I've seen someone under 55-60 on a Harely. Maybe the occasional kid whose dad bought him one?

Ukraine's support from other countries relies heavily on them having and maintaining the moral high ground.

I seriously doubt there is much that doesn't access the disk drive anymore. Either because of bloat, developer incompetence, or laziness re using code.

Not the I believe they can accurately detect what your doing.

Exactly, he definitely lacked maturity and patience. And of course the ability to not kill a bunch of kids because he was throwing a tantrum:p

I had 82 Chevy Malibu station wagon in the early 90s while in college. The thing would start like a champion on the second turn, NEVER the first.

Which was fine except the contacts on the solenoid started sticking when it was below freezing. It would sit there and run the battery down unless you jumped out reached underneath with something heavy to knock the solenoid loose... Get back, now being the second try, it would immediately start like a champ...

Did that for 3 months before I finally changed the starter.

There are several individuals whose social posts I want to follow for purely financial reasons. Preferably getting notifications for them.

Is this possible without an account? Like old day RRS feeds?

The two platforms in particular are "X" and "truthsocial" (eeewww)

I've looked around and haven't found anything and I'm not a programmer to create my own solution.

I normally just refill the sprayer and small olive oil bottles on my kitchen counter. I started thinking some of that has been in there a long time.

It hasn't smelled or gone rancid but still...

So I reloaded my 12 yr old laptop dual boot with win10 and Linux.

Win 10 no problems also installed World of Warcraft and copied over the mod folders from my main PC.

Linux- 2 distros failed to install, a third wouldn't create a usb bootable iso. Finally got Bazzite with Gnome to install and started to play around. Used the built "lutris"? to instal battlenet and then installed wow using the defaults. YaY! it seemed to work fine!

But... Trying copy over my mods from a FAT32 usb stick (linux reconginze the stick fine, but gives no indication that its a USB stick?)... COPY/PASTE doesn't work! wth. You have to use "Copy..to" ok learning curve on my part.

Now the real issue, using the defaults it installed WoW in "Os install" folder under games, took me a minute to find no problem. "Destination read only" WTF.... How do I get around this and why would Linux install a game in a read only directory???

I'm thinking about putting Linux on my MSI laptop.

First how does Linux handle 2 video cards. CPU Intel and a discrete Nvidia 970...

Can Linux work the light up keyboard? ( I game in the dark lot.

External monitor hooked to the display port?

Last what would be the best noob friendly distro to use. Haven't played with Linux in 10 years and really don't have time to tinker now

Is there anyway to "upscale" old 640-480 games?

Right now you either get a tiny box you can't see or a pixelated mess.
