My husband has had a metal USB stick that is shaped like a key and is very thin specifically for this purpose. I don't know the brand as it's not printed on it, but it's lasted him a long time and I would assume it to win this contest by a landslide. Excellent analysis, very interesting!

For reference, it looks like this (not the same brand):

Don't forget that eggs also come out the hole!! If you've ever seen fresh farm eggs before, you have to wash them before you use them because they're covered in piss and shit. Yum!

There's an excellent episode of the Sopranos where they end up going to Italy. And even though their whole personality is "Italian" they find that they have nothing in common with actual Italians. That show is a masterpiece.

Have you watched the show Severance? Excellent dive into that question and more.

I don't know if these things are sent en masse by a bot or by a person, but it's like they don't even skim your profile before hitting send. Like I specifically said "Work from home only", what makes you think I want your "hybrid" opportunity in bumfuck Illinois that barely pays what it should for my experience?

That sneaky fuck

I was tricked into working for him a second time by my former manager. See, my former manager was excellent but he left before crazy boss man was revealed to be as crazy as he was. So when former manager asked if I wanted to join him at his new job I didn't skip a beat. I literally found out on my first day when he welcomed me to the team and said "it's like we're getting the band back together!". But I'm glad I stayed because my company fired him literally the day before they announced wfh cuz COVID. And then everything was great... Minus the COVID stuff of course.

There used to be a website I would visit often that had random videos to watch. They were from all kinds of origins and it was fun to try out some videos to see what you would find that you otherwise wouldn't have seen. I don't think that website exists anymore unfortunately, but this is the closest thing I've seen since.

From what I understand, asbestos is far worse. Fiberglass causes irritation but that's about it. Asbestos, while it takes its time, will eventually cause mesothelioma and you really don't want that.

I had a boss who was like this once. Every time someone would hire him as the VP of marketing for their company, he would immediately say they need to rebrand. But would he hire someone or some company to do the necessary research and create a brand based on market needs? No! Every single time he would go to some website where you post a design contest and have people submit entries for the new logo. No other thought went into it. Then the company would be stuck with a new but poorly thought out brand that would require loads of bandaid fixes for years to come. I only worked for him twice, but it was twice too many and this always made my blood boil.

The lesson here is, pay professionals appropriately who know what they're doing.

Illinois is next babyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyyy

Hey guys! I'm going on a week long camping rafting trip in a few weeks and I wanted to get some ideas for good travel size games. I've found that some travel size games have lots of pieces or boxes that are loose, so I'm looking for suggestions for small games you think will work well for outdoors and travel.

So far I've got:

  • 2 pack of waterproof cards
  • Magnetic mini chess board
  • Hive Pocket edition
  • Love letter
  • Hanabi if I can get the metal tin version

I just made the Stiggin’s Fancy Old Fashioned from Educated Barfly's video from today. I think it turned out exceptionally and quite intense if you enjoy that spectrum of cocktails.

Recipe: 2oz (60ml) Pineapple Rum 1 Bar Spoon Coffee Liqueur 1/4oz (7.5ml) Demerara Syrup 1 Dash Angostura Bitters 1 Dash Regans’ Orange Bitters No. 6 (I used Bitterman's) Orange Twist

When some of my succulents stretch over the winter, I need to repot them into lil' dinky pots so they can start fresh! Yes, I know I need to get a grow light 🙄

This shoot grew over the past week and the flowers started to open today. I'm super excited! Bonus pic of a pup I pulled off last season.

The Old Fashioned is my favorite drink. It introduced me to whiskey and mixology plus it's simple and versatile. I think it's easy to judge if a bar has good cocktails based solely on their Old Fashioned. What are your opinions, favorite variations, etc?

Definitely not recent, but I figured I could help get some content going. So here is my jam shelf from the Covid times. Jam making is a hobby of mine in the summer and I went a little wild with flavors that year since there wasn't anything else to do and I could send them to people.

Top shelf from left to right: Lemon Curd, Port Plum, Apricot, Strawberry Zinfandel, Peach Bourbon, Verry Berry, Peach, (small jar) apple butter from the year before, (large jar) Chili sauce, raspberry.

On the bottom shelf are various garnishes for cocktails that I didn't really can so much, but I thought I would list for those curious. (If you like cocktails, join us over on [email protected]). From left to right of what I can see: Smoked Salt, Cinnamon Sticks, Whole Nutmeg, Dried Lime Wheels, Candied Ginger, Tea Pot.

Not pictured: That years apple butter batch! I always make a massive batch of apple butter when my parents apples ripen. It often makes about 20 jars!

Hi all! r/succulents was one of my favorite subreddits and I wanted to move it over. Posting here to get some content started and I hope you enjoy!

Recipie:

  • 6-10 basil leaves (depending on size)
  • 2 oz dry gin
  • ½ oz Elderflower liqueur
  • 1 oz Lime Juice
  • ½ oz Honey syrup

Muddle Basil leaves in gin, then add in remaining ingredients. Shake with ice and double strain into glass. Garnish with a basil sprig. (side note: using purple basil makes the drink turn a lovely pink.)
