Showering should be fine. It’s designed to be worn in open ocean swimming, so a shower shouldn’t be a concern. You can always activate the water lock feature before you shower if you’re concerned about damage.

Heart rate accuracy is pretty good. Actually, most of the sensors are. When I’m at the doctor I typically check my heart rate and blood oxygen levels on my watch against the nurse’s readings. It’s usually spot on or extremely close.

You can customize the heart rate notifications by setting your own high and low hr thresholds.

Be sure to manually activate fall detection. It isn’t on by default unless you’re 65 or older.

I have the Apple channel subscription to Paramount+ and it’s kind of a mess. The live feed doesn’t work and the sports content doesn’t work. I still need to have the app on my AppleTV to access NWSL games, for example.

Make sure you buy a structured media enclosure that is all plastic so that it’s transparent to wireless signals. I bought the Leviton 49605-42P. Works great.

It’s not in Find My (which, yes, is stupid). It’s in the remote app on your Contro Center.

3 years ago I paid $100 per drop for Ethernet from a certified electrician. Now, he was here to replace my panel, add some circuits, and the Ethernet, so I’m not sure if the $100/drop fee was discounted in some way based on the total size of the job, but it seemed very reasonable to me.

There are no legit rumors about a new model. The current model is better than ANY streamer on the market. Buy one and you’ll never regret it. Wait for rumors and you’ll be waiting forever.
