I already addressed that, but more than one party can shoulder blame at the same time, not everything is black and white.

I'm still waiting for the big event where they fight at Hell in a Cell.

If you think of Trump politics in terms of pro wrestling, more things than you expect start to make a lot more sense.

Yeah, not wrong, is kind of annoying, but is also cool. SOS2 has always been a special mod in rimworld, great concept but long gaps between breaking updates and fixes. I totally get it too, the scope on SOS2 is kinda crazy for a mod, it's a lot. If you were going to replicate a rimworld mod as DLC, I can't imagine a better one to pick.

I do wonder how the SOS2 team is reacting. I hope they take the opportunity to scale back on some of the pieces they have to maintain and try to bring some of the stuff that doesn't make it into the official DLC into the newer versions.

Bear doesn't view something our size as even remotely a threat. We're assuming the bear isn't hungry and just not that interested.

Matthew Broderick.

He's an alright actor, but seeing him always reminds me of that time he got drunk (rumored) and killed two people with his car in Ireland but faced almost zero repercussions (he got a small fine).

Id personally be more scared of the chimp. The gorilla is mostly a peaceful animal.

There will never be another quite like Ronnie James Dio.

I wish, but that's the opposite of the goal of the democratic party. They don't see themselves as the opposition to the Republican party. Only priorities are maintaining the status quo and getting funding. That does tend to be better for us than the alternative, but any downstream benefits are mostly a happy accident.

This is a fun thought experiment and I’m kind of surprised Discovery didn’t do something like this with holodeck tech in the “future” since the writers weren’t afraid to do other tech-taken-to-natural-conclusion like tiny phaser transporters (or whatever those were).

They kinda did, they just didn't go into detail. There were ships that were made entirely of holodeck at the new federation headquarters in discovery season 3ish, we just never got beyond being mentioned briefly and people going 'Oh, thats cool'.

Maxwell's powers are limited by what he can describe with written language and the speed at which Maxwell can do so. Q's powers are effectively similar but seemingly without either limitation.

Eh, the sentiment has always been 'fuck russia', it's a pain. If someone comes up with a good reason to reenter the russian markets and everyone think it's profitable and legal enough to get away with, they'll bring it up at their company and will probably be successful, but a lot of us are very happy we didn't have to worry about that for a few years.

This statement is driving down the perceived profitability though, so probably bought us a bit more time.
