Well, considering the UK is not interested in helping him, and you’re probably right, we should perhaps be more concerned with Russia or a similar country picking him up for state sponsored cyberattacks or some shit.

Kid seems to be in it for the chaos and notoriety. That could cause quite a bit of harm in the right state environment.

Don’t think Bing has been good for that for some years no?

They’ve been exporting their suffering to Ukraine the last few years as well.

I recently used it to update my resume with great success. But I also didn’t just blindly trust it.

Gave it my resume and then asked it to edit my resume to more closely align with a guide I found on Harvards website. Gave it the guide as well and it spit out a version of mine that much more closely resembled the provided guide.

Spent roughly 5 minutes editing the new version to correct for any problems it had and boom. Half an hour of worked parsed down to sub 10

I then had it use my new resume (I gave it a copy of the edited version) and asked it to write me a cover letter for a job (I provided the job description)

Boom. Cover letter. I spent about 10 minutes editing that piece. And then that new resume and cover letter lead to an interview and subsequent job offer.

International English as the region also prevents tons of random crap to be auto installed

iMessage on android as in android users would have blue bubbles on someone’s iPhone?

If that’s the case then it’s relaying the messages through an iMac or Mac mini somewhere which would require signing into an Apple ID so some third party would have access to all of your chats 💀💀💀

Basically what nothing phone is doing now

100 percent in agreement that apples ram pricing is lunacy

But my brother. Wtf do you need that much ram in a phone for lol. Mine has 6gb (12 pro lmao) and that causes me zero issues. Granted, I don’t game on my phone. But is phone gaming really eating that much ram these days?

Biden is a lukewarm president on a good day.

But compared to this bullshit fascist Christian sharia law ramble above he’s almost one of our only hopes.

I hope his name isn’t on the ballet this next November. But if it’s listed then we’re all in danger. This nonsense is a far right fascists wet dream.

And as the sole sysadmin of my family I am going to prioritize keeping them in familiar environments to reduce my ticket load as I don’t have a tier 1 group to handle them.

The Ally atleast has more performance than the Deck. Deck has it beat in software though.

Really?

ToTK ram so poorly on my (launch) switch that I stopped after a few hours. Constant usually massive dips in frame rate put me off of it.

Returned my switch to a MarioKart/Smash machine for when my friends are over.

Hey guys, I’ve never used Plex before but am looking to set up a server this week for me and my family as streaming bills are getting out of control. I have a small library of legally acquired media that will work as a good test before I go sailing for the rest.

I have a Thinkserver TD340 desktop with dual xeons and space for many hard drives that I was going to use simply due to its HDD capacity

(12c24t combined and 64gb RAM)

However they’re sandy bridge Xeon’s and not very power efficient. However I can put a Quadro P2000 GPU in it for hardware accelerated transcoding

The other idea I have is I have access to an HP SFF PC with an i5 8400T and a few external hard drive mounts I could plug into power in the wall and USB to the PC

This is smaller and saves power but forgoes GPU acceleration leaving me with only Intel UHD 630 graphics. It’s also only 6 cores/threads but they are much faster.

I also want whichever system I use to run pi-hole for DNS level ad blocking. But that’s very light and shouldn’t be an issue to run at the same time.

Am I overthinking this? I have access to both systems. Which would be best. At most maybe 3 people would be accessing it at once. Across iPhones, smart TVs etc

I have a friend who’s alcohol consumption has gotten out of control. Me and his other friends/family are planning an intervention and so I’ve been doing a lot of research/reading on the topic.

NEVER and I mean NEVER have I seen so many fucking ads for alcohol in my LIFE. Instagram? 15 ads in a half hour of scrolling reels. YouTube? Ads. Google results? Ads. Twitter? Ads.

It’s fucking everywhere and it’s SICK. I’m researching how to help someone stop drinking and I’m getting inundated with ads for anything from gin, beers, vodkas and more. I can’t even imagine having an alcohol issue and trying to find help for myself with the web being this way.

It’s fucking sick.

My Memmy feed is comprised of posts from my subscribed communities but most of the posts are sub 100 votes and have at most a few dozen comments.

I log into Lemmy on my laptop however and the posts in my feed have thousands of votes and dozens or hundreds of comments. Is there something I’m doing wrong? New to the fediverse
