You have my support. I don't do twitter-like feeds (never got the appeal), but absolutely love the content on Mastodon. Having that content on my Lemmy feed would be golden.

That's one of their antiAdBlock features, actually, and it's working as designed. Hard refresh doesn't work for me. I stopped using yt site on desktop, and only use freetube now. If a video doesn't play on that, I yt-dlp it.

Or Briar. Or Signal. Or so many others that have been audited throughput the years. While I appreciate the addition of Amnesichat to this arsenal, it has yet to be properly audited and is, therefore, not yet trusted.

Do what I do with every aspect in life. Mix and match. Brand loyalty is for the 50s and should remain there. When brands are not loyal to their customers, their customers should not be loyal to the brands. Plus, you get better tools for cheaper, overall. Though, this works less with power tools due to the proprietary batteries...

Um... What? I can't tell if I've found "that side" of the internet and you're serious, or if it's the "other side" and you're joking haha

Yeah :(

My friend uses RHEL at work daily. It's what they use. Lucky duck.

I did that once. They didn't even notice. Really bummed me out. To be fair, it was after I had them install 7Zip, so the fault is mine. Haha
