...Yet both Android and Apple phones use MEMS silicon for their devices, so why were only Apple phones affected? The answer, it seems, is because Apple recently defected from traditional quartz-based clocks in its phones in favor of clocks that are also made of MEMS silicon.

So, they ask the question of why iPhones are the only ones affected if androids also went to MEMS, then answer it by saying that apple went to MEMS. Are they saying that the clocks in Androids still use quartz, but iPhones use MEMS clocks, even though they both use general MEMS silicon?

Edit, autocorrect

I don't speak Dutch, but it'd be a shame if someone found and distributed this "copyrighted" text, such as this link and this link, as they're trying to block people from accessing, quite possibly, the most influential and important piece of writing, created by a little girl, chronicling her and her people's torture and demise...won't someone think of the corporation...

It's a dull knife. The only thing more dangerous than a sharp knife, is a dull one.

I can see that happening. There was a huge hype, both for LLMs, in general, and for "smart" digital assistants. Both of these hypes were capitalize on very strongly by expert marketers, who created a device that was supposed to be both (but was neither).

That's good question. Not sure. I didn't see that the article specified.
