Elderly people finding a slot machine that involves colorful lights.

Isn’t every video game just moving colourful blocks?

(Except Quake obviously)

If you make the blocks really small (so you can fit a few million of them on the screen) and move them with a physics model, then it covers Quake too.

Quake isn't colourful, it's mostly brown and grey.

But they aren't colorful colors

And red. Don't forget the copious amounts of red

I'm fifty and my game was Unreal Tournament. This meme is me when The Finals released.

Just an amazing couple of games.

I'm thirty and this was me when I finally found UT and Quake last year. The Finals is pretty cool too, ngl.

I mean, that's what Tetris is too

[-] [email protected] 12 points 1 year ago

Yea, old people play tetris

[-] [email protected] 8 points 1 year ago

But it's also just a good game. See ctwc for reference.

Minecraft involves moving colorful blocks... 🤔

[-] [email protected] 4 points 1 year ago

I thought this rule was about Minecraft until I read the comments...

[-] [email protected] 27 points 1 year ago

to be fair we’ve been doing this since tetris

What can I say? We were all raised on Tetris.

Though I have to admit, Marvel Snap is my current mobile game addiction.

I'm middle aged, and I feel ecstatic whenever I find another middle aged person who enjoys actually good games

[-] [email protected] 12 points 1 year ago

I'm middle aged and like what I assume are actually good games. Hit me up on steam dawg.
