I used to be like that.
One piece was getting popular while I was in college. But so did 100 other shonens, and I was aging out of it.
So to see it still here 20 years later, I decided to "wait" because I heard the whole Wano Arc was going to be the penultimate arc. But that pandemic hit hard and so I binged on everything.
And now I'm fucked as every few months since 2021, I'm wondering what the Straw Hats are up to.
I'm on the whole cake arc right now. This is all I have watched for the past 2 months.
One year I said fk it and decided to binge detective Conan (all episodes up released at that point). No it wasn't worth it. Don't do it.
I just found out after 10 years Attack on Titan is finally finished. Binged the entire series in a few days, it was awesome.
Me too. It was exhausting, but I don't regret it.
It's fun doing that with books, too. Especially when there are authors like GRRM.
I'm reading so fucking slowly and it might still not be slow enough
That was me 8 years ago
This is me waiting for Frieren to finish airing.
I'm binge watching Frieren right now. Anime of the year for sure.
Long slow movies released in parts are boring.
I didn't watch Harry Potter for that reason.
When the final movie came out, I binged. And best part, was able to skip huge chunks of movies and get straight to the good stuff!
I wouldn't recommend doing that with Sonny Boy - those week-long breaks were just enough for me to process what have I just witnessed
Personally I just do it because I’ve been burned by modern streaming too often: Find an interesting new show, watch the first season or two. The show picks up steam, people like it and the actors ask for more money on renewal. Streaming site drops the show and makes something else with cheaper actors, interesting story goes unfinished.
Me slowly realizing that I'll probably never get to watch every Star Trek series
Time to watch Lost again
I don't like binge watching because it diminishes the fun out of it.
Absolutely this
And after waiting for weeks, binging the first few, then not watching the end for several more weeks!
