Wondering what other hexbears are gifting their loved ones.

  • For mother, a set of gardening tools and hat.
  • For father, a leatherman multitool.
  • For sister, an appointment with her favorite hairdresser.
  • For sister, a tee shirt and tote bag from The Cure tour.

I will get nothing and deserve it.

What about you?

I got a nice ukulele for my kiddo this year, I always wish that my family had supported and encouraged me to learn music

I play guitar and have since I was a teenager, and have been hoping that one of my kids would get into music and I finally got one because my daughter's music class has uke's and she asked for one for Christmas. I was a little worried because I know what guitars cost, but you can get one of these for like $40 that's totally fine.

  • Mama: she got a red glass fixation so I got her a nice red glass vase and made her some her favorite cookies.
  • Papa: oops
  • Sweetie: found some gloves like the ones he has been describing and restored them! Plus some little nibbles and other treats.
  • Bestie: Tassajara bread book bc he been baking bread
  • 'Stock Gift': Found some littler jars at the second hand store and been making fancy syrups for my boozehead friends.
  • 'Stock' Gift: Made some marzipan truffles from scratch

  • For mom: chipping in towards a fancy Japanese kitchen knife set my brother bought
  • For dad: leatherbound journal and a nice clicky pen (idk if he likes fountain pens so I'm playing it safe)
  • For brother: I have three brothers but we do a one-person not so secret santa where we just get one thoughtful gift instead of three half-assed ones. So I bought my little brother a Warhammer 40k Displate poster. I think he'll like it.
  • For my sister-in-law, one of those reversible axolotl plushies I bought and showed off in another thread

I bought my girlfriend and I winter hiking equipment. I'm kinda worried it's weird to get the same thing for both of us. I told her not to buy me anything but I think she did and I kinda feel bad not having something else for her but I have no idea what to get her.

My sibs and I got a still with the fixings for our s.dad. Hopefully he likes it, he's handy and gets really into stuff so it's a good chance.

Everyone else is either getting crap or exactly what they asked for.

I'm a NEET. I'll be cooking for Christmas dinner and hoping no one else got me anything that make me feel bad about not getting them anything.

My family is huge so I tend to get them small but practical things. My multiple siblings will get things like tools, essential clothing, games, etc. My sister is a different story because I'm closest to her and know exactly what she likes. I got her an electric scooter.

I spoiled the shit out of my fiancee and got her a handheld massager, an electric heating blanket, and a paintball pistol gun.
