Community and moderator requests and nominations for unmodded communities.

No bulk requests. That means one comm request per post. This is so we can sort out their interest individually.

Community request posts with enough upbears and a volunteer for moderation willing to submit an application will be created during mod drives.

having a comm called USA tells them that they're one country among others; not having it (using /c/politics etc.) tells them they're the default, reinforces the mindset that everything is centred on the USA unless otherwise specified

Iโ€™m in solidarity with the underlying problem, and Iโ€™m a Burgerlander myself.
I would suggest ๐Ÿ”-specific comms for the most problematic ones, like c/politics and c/news, and to update the sidebars, referring people to those alts for ๐Ÿ”-specific posts.

Edit: Has this issue not been litigated before? I ask because it just seems very likely that it would have been by now.
