Those two other blue splotches on the left are Buffalo and Rochester. Those two along with NYC make up a large chunk of New York’s overall population.

We should start including all of the ocean floor in these maps to really hammer home how little of the vote is being counted.

    “Not getting”

these people know what they’re doing. They choose to engage in these obviously false narratives because it lets them be part of an in-group. I’m being pedantic but I think the distinction matters.

Fascinating. It's almost as if square footage doesn't get the right to vote, people do

I speak for the trees and the trees say:

Kill all brown people, down with trans. Also we need more data centers.

to be fair, land is property/wealth and wealth has the biggest seat at the table.

the people who look at all that land and say crap like that are just confessing their ideology.

One of America's greatest mysteries: why do people in dense population centers vote Democrat while vast empty stretches of unoccupied land always seems to vote Republican?

I am once again calling for a Reverse Down To The Countryside movement

"Farmers" who exploit immigrant labor, country music stars, and suburban jet ski dealership owners must be made to work as baristas in poor urban neighborhoods to put them in touch with America's working class

I think a big part is that rural areas in the US are underserved and therefore don’t trust the government to function properly. They’d rather the government exist as little as possible (or at least tax them as little as possible)

Cousin humpers always wanna pretend like the trees and bugs should get a vote. When they're not demanding that everyone else subsidize their life as a hermit in the middle of nowhere by bringing all the advantages of modern society to their shithole jerkwaters free of charge.

BTW I hate this. The way we've brought the tech into the wilderness. How everywhere has to be modern now. For a long time cities were the place that had industry and tech and the boonies were some dude in a cabin who didn't even have electricity. THAT WAS GOOD! You had a choice. Get tired of modern life? Go live in the middle of nowhere and milk cows or whatever for awhile. Now everywhere is the same. You could be in Nebraska and they'll ask you to do the application online because they don't take resumes in person anymore. It's just so boring.
