How about we don't talk shit about protesters? Y'all complain nobody is protesting then make fun of people who are.

Doesn't happen nearly as often as it needs to, but.. Americans do protest like this. After 2020 everybody freaked out and voted to quintuple all the police budgets because Americans did this, actually. The problem is there's no solidarity when it happens, everyone trips over themselves to condemn the evil violence of harming the buildings and THEN looks at other countries like "why don't WE do this???"

Tbf it will be similar in France. These protests and the chaos that comes with it pretty much secure a victory for Le Pen in the coming elections. Damned if you do, damned if you don't (protest).

Americans only make fun of the French because they don't know jack shit about history.

One of my favorite historical facts is how France mass-deleted Nazis after WWII. Literally.

Remember "Occupy Wall Street?" What happened to that?

Is the French government literally slavering for an excuse to declare martial law to avoid the next election? President begging for a reason to start shooting political opponents?

Thanks for the terminally online pastime of making fun of people who actually went outside.

    Well... Yes.
They're literally putting curfews in major cities, talking about social media black holes, and talking about banning the most popular leftist party from the next elections. Police are literally killing and maiming kids in the street as we speak.

Thanks for the terminally American pastime of thinking you're unique.

Edit: to the terminally dumb Americans downvoting, I suggest you look at what's happening in France. Not what your liberal media is talking about, but what is really happening.

Knowing macron probably. They're also currently cracking down in the manner you describe AND like the usa would be happy to invent a reason to if people didn't

That's the fucking problem, you will wait....we need millions to do this if we have any chance. No matter how much destruction I would want to commit to make a change. But that is the problem. I am one man they quickly arrest ne and shut me down. Look what happen to Lugi. We needed millions of like mind individuals then maybe healthcare would been fired.

The left is not ready for a John Brown. Without an organized socialist party to capitalize on the revolutionary moment, an attempt at accelerationism will just result in a fascist crackdown.

John Brown’s attack on Harper’s Ferry kicked off the civil war because there was a strong and organized abolition movement that had a sympathetic federal government. The antifascist movement today is neither strong nor organized, nor does it have any sympathetic power holders.

What we actually need is a Lenin. Someone with the charisma and genius to organize the left and into a proper working class movement.
