The left is not ready for a John Brown. Without an organized socialist party to capitalize on the revolutionary moment, an attempt at accelerationism will just result in a fascist crackdown.

John Brown’s attack on Harper’s Ferry kicked off the civil war because there was a strong and organized abolition movement that had a sympathetic federal government. The antifascist movement today is neither strong nor organized, nor does it have any sympathetic power holders.

What we actually need is a Lenin. Someone with the charisma and genius to organize the left and into a proper working class movement.
