I specifically recall hearing about, Chris Christie the ex-Governor of New Jersey (and yes the guy that ran for president), getting ridiculed and blamed for shutting down a NJ highway on election day, and by doing so altered the outcome of the election results?

It's worth mentioning that Chris Christie was also the NJ governor when that huge organ trafficking case broke involving multiple politicians, and countries. The self acclaimed "kidney matchmaker", Brooklyn Rabbi Levy Izhak Rosenbaum was at the center of the case.

NJ is also where the Trumps Taj Mahal was located. And where Trump's helicopter with all his Taj Mahal higher up coworkers died in a crashed. Trump offered up a reward for more information regarding the crash. It was later ruled to be helicopter blade fatigue.

So are voters allowed to show up with guns?

I'm thinking of doing this. I'm in texas. Just stand in front of ICE and not do anything illegal they could arrest me for. Just me carrying a shotgun.

remember: MASKED ICE IS COSPLAY. Call 911. Make a fucking scene. Get “real” pigs out there. Know your state’s castle doctrine. Keep your phone at home.

It fucking sucks we need to bloc up to fucking vote.

"real" pigs. Just remember forces and crosses if you're a minority before calling them.

The sense of "respect my authority" to ICE might get overridden by "economic anxiety".

absolutely. outcome is dependent on skin color and economics for sure. i just used the “call 911” remark to get something recorded in dispatch because the chances these things escalate

    All part of the plan.

First it’s this. They want this coverage- so, even this article is part of it. Next, they’ll kill someone. This too will also obviously make news . And with that, the message is sent:

“Don’t go to the polls. It’s dangerous to vote against MAGA”.

Think about it: He has publicly asked for Americans cities to be attacked, do you think he hasn’t told ICE to kill a few people?

He will try to win through threats and intimidation, through cheating, manipulation… anything that will work.

He is a pedophile facing life in prison and he is desperate.

There has never been a more important reason to vote. Never in American history has the stakes been so high. And it’s a berry real threat that if we don’t vote against this traitor to his country, will we have the chance again- because if they win, they won’t have to “play nice” anymore. It’ll be all over.

So however risky it ends up- it’ll be worth it to vote to protect the future of American democracy and the people that still believe in it.

    VOTE.

What happens if an ice agent is murdered at a polling place instead? Does that send the right message?

Would you like to buy a bridge? There will be no consequences for Trump or his cronies regardless of who's in charge. Obviously getting them out of them out of the way is preferable, but Trump getting sentenced to anything meaningful is an astronomically small chance.

Would I like to buy a bridge? Wtf nonsense is this? I didn’t say shit about consequences- I simply said to vote regardless of his goon squad intimidation tactics

"I've got a bridge to sell you" is an idiom that one would use on someone they perceive as gullible. Full disclosure I had to look it up too. Jive turkeys. I have to agree though. Neither major US political party is gonna do a fuckin thing to each other. No war but the class war.

False. He's not facing life in prison, there will be no consequences for raping children.

to protect the future of American democracy

The non-existent future of American democracy. They may have disagreements on policy, but they both agree on the things that their donors care about. It's called the political ratchet, the repubs crank the ratchet right and democrats block any progress back to the left.

    These guys are the worst

ICE is nazis, but they're really dumb. Just as dangerous, but literally cow shit for brains

I think the Nazis were largely the same, a bunch of idiot fuckbags, dumb enough to be manipulated into thinking they're doing the right thing, by smarter and even more evil fuckbags.

Hey now the OG Nazis also had the revanchists amongst the German nobility supporting them who did tend to be more intelligent, mind you they weren't really ideologically Nazis but moreso just wanted to get back at Britain and France. Not defending them but compare that to the modern billionaires and well the downgrade is noticable.

The average Nazi wasn't exactly known for their keen minds. Otherwise, they wouldn't have ended up as rank-and-file Nazis.

Plenty of Nazis were smart. However, the brown shirts - analogous to ICE - were not.

There were a handful of actual, smart, Nazis. The VAST majority lacked any kind of critical thinking or education.

I disagree. Letting them off the hook because they were too stupid is right up there with the "I was just following orders" excuse. Besides, they were extremely efficient and organised. That's not stupid. They were evil.

No one is letting them off the hook, they can be stupid and evil- and deserve to burn. The people at the very top of the Nazi party did all of the organizing and made sure the Nazi army was efficient. Those people were smart and evil, and made up a tiny fraction of the Nazi party.

So what you're saying is, we need to outsmart the ICE? What are your ideas, but I guess we need to know how dumb they are.

    • Shiny objects
    • Women hitting on them and getting them to leave the sites by luring them
    • Hand out free concert flyers for the typical bands they love
    • Surround them while complementing them

Woah surrounding them with a crowd paying them compliments sounds like a really good tactic.

We should reject the notion that Nazis were simply dumb because that view treats Fascism as an aberration of individual stupidity instead of a systematic process of capitalism in crisis. There is some subtle ableism in attempting to correlate "stupidity" with fascism.

So I said year that it’s martial law around the next election. Let’s see how right I was. I’m willing to accept bets in non-USD.

I was told martial law was going to happen like 3 or 4 times now during this administration. Still waiting.

"it hasn't happened yet, therefore it won't happen"

That's the logic you just used

No the logic I'm using is that the US is too large, too populous, too spread out, and too well-armed for martial law to happen all across the country. Not to mention that the federal government does not have the infrastructure to administer justice across the entire population, and they can't just throw everyone in jail because there aren't enough jails.

But if you don't want to take my word for it, keep the receipts. Save this comment and come back to it on November 4 after we've had midterms without martial law being declared.

Worth pointing out half of those were BY this administration. Point is it's a trigger he's been dying to push when the situation gets dire, and currently the polls are showing the midterms are very much not in his favor right now.

It ain't happening. Nationwide martial law in the US has never been and will never be a thing.

The only enablers are the ones who spread doom and the ones who capitulate and obey in advance.
