PM Burnham says the UK Government "can confirm our belief that we believe Iran to have played a part" in the RAF Fairford incident.

I can confirm Iran's belief that releasing supposed terrorists working for foreign states really says it all.

You're barking up the wrong tree.

Not exactly the right grain of time for Araghchi to bring it up but Iran attacking RAF fairford would actually be entirely legal under int'l law

No improvised explosive devices were found in the vans, but a "quantity of petrol" was recovered, Assistant Commissioner Taylor said.

    https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c85ydnwqpzyzo https://archive.is/g7q6E

(also found was siphoning gear, and the vans used had fake 'fuel2go' decals on the side)

They were released on bail which is very rare for actual terrorism suspects. All 5 were british nationals

But I guess Andy needs to justify letting the US occupiers using bases on UK territory for launching attacks in the unprovoked war that's pushing fuel prices in the UK(and elsewhere) through the roof

    from the article you linked:

"There are strong indications that Iran played a part in what happened over the weekend at RAF Fairford," he told the BBC. He did not provide further details.

Well I guess if you count retaliating to having your school kids massacred by closing the strait driving up fuel prices making siphoning more lucrative as 'playing a part' then he's technically not lying

Burnham's comments come after it emerged that one of the five men had dialled 999 himself before the group were arrested.

Great opsec there 'foreign backed agents'

I remember the days when the intelligence apparatus would've planted explosives in these people's vehicles to find as part of the 'evidence' for the 'foreign agents' charge

Now they just say they're terrorists acting on behalf of a hostile nation state without even bothering for that theater

In 2026 the theocratic authoritarian dictatorship has more consistency and credibility than the liberal democracies.

He's an elitist reformist whose allegiances are often questionable based on his actions.

A few months back, him and Pezeshkian pushed ahead with negotiations even when other sections of the Iranian leadership weren't on board due to mistrust of the Epstein empire. These negotiations led to nothing and Iran was attacked yet again. Then Pezeshkian and Aragchi were reigned in. Pezeshkian threatened to resign as a tool to create political pressure but it backfired, and he backed down.

Now, with things flaring up, again the reformists want negotiations despite Iranians being attacked every day.

Reformists in general are a plague for any country ripe for revolution, because their very stance is based in reaction. Not to mention most of these elites have investments and properties abroad that they're afraid will get seized if the war doesn't end. Iranian Bourgeoisie want the war to end so their profits aren't hurt, even if it means Iranian workers will have to suffer more.

BTW, all this is information I gathered over the last 6 months of checking multiple communities and news channels. It'll take me too much time to go and search for individual sources, so of you choose not to believe this, its completely okay with me. Have a good day

He once said something along the lines of, negotiation does not cause war, we were atacked because we didn't negotiate(accepted yankee demands demands).

That should tell you everything you need to know about what he represents.

All these spinless liberals are a detriment to humanity in general, but most importantly to Iran and the war effort, just offering to surrender at any turn.

This Burnham guy… did terf island find someone dumber than the previous 7 clowns they had as leaders?

Jeez man, I’m barely caught up with UK politics but everything I hear from this dude’s own two lips is the dumbest, most untactful shit in existence. Der Starmer was really something but now I’m wondering again where the fuck did you get this guy?

They wouldn't have released the suspects if they thought they were doing any kind of armed attack. Considering the way the regime has thrown the book at peaceful anti-genocide protesters, I also doubt that they would have released them if they thought they were political activists.

In mind the two most likely explanations are that this is either some kind of dumb misunderstanding or that it was a false flag operation.

Two false flags in a week is crazy work by America and Israel (the plane incident is being called an Iranian terrorist attack by Israeli/American chuds)
