A single "fuck you" button would be an innovative improvement.

Not sure if science is ready yet to accomplish such a task!

But you wouldn't be able to write "as per my last email"...

Ergonomics is important, so I present you my quick prototype of a QWERTY version:

    !lemmyshitpost@lemmy.world

Screenshot of Sketchbook app featuring my doodle of a qwerty-like keyboard with just the keys Y, U, O, enter, F, K, C and spacebar. The hidden layers revealed by Sketchbook's GUI disclose my initial attempt to make a precise key grid for all QWERTY keys.

Oh hey. It's the keyboard used in the 2008 action movie Wanted.

The story is a little bit curved and I don't want to spoiler all bullet points, but if you don't search for a far-reaching target or complicated woven meaning, I'm sure you can enjoy it.

Replace the second U with an S and it gains a lot of functionality.

What's the longest single word your can type with that keyboard? Best I can do is "yucky".

    1. You win, I think. That definitely seems to be an accepted spelling.
    2. Pretty sure this particular keyboard is gonna be only caps. One of my keyboards even does this with numlock. It is on by defualt, has no numlock key, and if I plug in a second or use software to turn it off, the keyboard turns it back on like a useless machine.

With the power of macros, we can maintain the same functionality while reducing the form factor to a single key!

Wait, are all the macros just pressing the same key different numbers of times?

No need. It knows what the next letter is at any given time. In fact, we can just type out the whole phrase with one key press!
