When are they going to realise video games are not about realism?
What are they smoking at Nvidia that makes them think "oh, people will love this"
Ah yes typical first crucial killing off its consumer brand due to "AI" and now Nvidia doing shit like this to gamers....who would've thought this would happen....🙂. Unfortunately, expect more companies to follow stuff like these and don't be surprised if integrated processor GPUs make a huge comeback like back in the day cuz GPU memories are "too expensive. The best we can do is DDR3 shared GPU CPU RAM"
FFVII, the low budget live action movie. A NETFLIX production, brought to you by NVIDIA.
Wow, it did an AMAZING job recreating the face of the actual human actress they modeled Jesse Faden after, it's uncanny! /s https://www.imdb.com/name/nm1890824/
It's a good demonstration that partially-fmv games could leverage this to blend fmv and rendered scenes more if you trained it on your actors and sets. You would need significantly higher fidelity facial animations, however.
For anything even slightly less realistic, ew no.
I don't understand the uproar. It seems like applying the filter mainly fixed white balance so the character wasn't orange.
Which character are you talking about? There are multiple in the article. And one looks more orange to me post-filter.
Honestly, these screenshots are doing it justice. I'm not mad at the results at all.
