1. Sanctions do not work on Israel, as its an independent nation with strong allies all around the world, from South America, to the USA, to europe, with Nations like Hungary. Sanctioning this is like shooting yourself into the foot. The USA has the strongest military force and can always support.
2. Islamism will recede with the population. Security will increase. Islamist Terrorism will be eliminated with such settlements.
3. The settlements create valuable economic outputs. The building boom will grow the economy.
4. It makes a "Palestinian state" de-facto impossible to found, removing all future threats from Hamas terrorism.

There are no draw-backs. No negative consequences, why stop? Judeo Christian values spread in the middle east, a bastion of democracy is founded in the backwards region.

Five of Türkiye's defence companies were a part of the global top 100 most valuable defence firms list in 2025, according to Defence News' Top 100 list.

Aselsan was the most valued Turkish defence firm in the list, ranking 43rd with $3.54 billion in defence revenue.

Meanwhile, Turkish Aerospace Industries (TAI) ranked 47th, Roketsan 71st, Asfat 78th, and MKE 80th.

TAI climbed three steps compared to the previous year's list, ASFAT soared 16 steps, while MKE rose four.

Lockheed Martin maintained its top spot with $68.39 billion in defence revenue, followed by RTX and China Aerospace Science and Industry Corporation.

Boeing ranked seventh, China State Shipbuilding Corporation Limited eighth, L3Harris Technologies ninth, and Thales tenth.

The list included 48 companies from the US, six from the UK, five each from Türkiye, France, and China, four from Germany, and three each from South Korea and Israel.

The visit marks Erdogan’s first trip to China in five years and comes amid growing strategic ties between Ankara and Beijing. During the summit, Erdogan is scheduled to address an expanded session of the SCO and hold bilateral talks with Chinese President Xi Jinping, as well as other participating leaders.

This year’s SCO summit carries particular weight against the backdrop of global turbulence, as a question mark remains over the Russia-Ukraine ceasefire and the global economy reels from US President Donald Trump’s tariff policies.

“By participating in the SCO Summit, Türkiye aims to assert its presence, strengthen bilateral ties, and engage multilaterally within the framework of the organisation,” said Mehmet Ozkan, Professor of International Relations at the Joint War Institute at Türkiye’s National Defence University.

“Türkiye does not see the SCO as a bloc dominated by any single country,” he told TRT World. “Rather, it sees the organisation as a potential rising multilateral alternative to the Western-dominated international order,” he said.
