For a decade, Nvidia has been focused on foolish nonsense like fake AI-generated frames or path tracing that nobody asked for, meanwhile Rockstar has their eye on the ball(s)

    No idea if it's going to be there in an hour or two. The relevant video is predictably the one called Nudist Town.

    Content warning, somewhat sexually tinged violence

    spoilerThe player goes around a nudist colony creepily looking at the people there with binoculars. An angered female NPC confronts him so he kills her and starts an impromptu mass shooting.

    Looking at reactions, it looks like many people were genuinely put off by how realistic the scenario looked (wonky floating NPC physics not withstanding). I guess it hits different when livestreamed shootings are a common occurrence. Can't wait to see the Discourse and Content that this game will generate. Jack Thompson would have exploded if he had seen this clip in the 2000s

    I think it's just a location in the game you can visit, like a saloon in Red Dead Redemption. There probably is a mission that takes place there at some point but this just looks like free roam to me.

    It was already pretty great in RDR2, seems like this is continuing in the same trajectory. Looks like the videos were already deleted but I recall seeing RDR2's contextual NPC interactions in some of them

    If this game is just modern day RDR2 instead of GTAVI I would be very happy, lol
