"My name is Sergeant Frank Drebin, Space Squad. There'd been a recent wave of gorgeous fashion models found naked and unconscious in laundromats on the West side. Unfortunately I was assigned to investigate a missing scientist on Altair IV."
I've been given a fancy new sidearm. Unfortunately, it only harms people named Ray.
YAY!
That movie was damn awesome.
woa. I did not realize he was in that. and I have seen it like a dozen times I bet through the years.
Nielsen used to have quite respectable leading man career before AIrplane. People were legit shocked when he played Dr. Rumack because he never seemed to be the guy with the comedy chops. And then it became his whole thing.
I think the thing is he never became recognizable as a name/face to me till airplane.
he was a known commodity that showed up here and there but not really a household name before Airplane
That movie scared the daylights out of me when I was about 10. Rated G, but that doesnt really mean anything for movies that old haha
Well, it is still an adaptation of quite intense Shakespeare play
Wait really?
Its a loose adaptation of The Tempest

Good catch. Amazon Women on the Moon spoofed Queen of Outer Space, which reused stuff from Forbidden Planet.
