I have the not mini echo in the mail from China so good timing. I'll be sure to do that
Is it good?
I've seen this exact model of mp3 online sometimes and I was thinking of buying something like it to have some music on the go without my smartphone.
How long does the battery actually last from your experience ?
I only just got it so I can't properly say how long the battery lasts. Feels like it could go a whole day at a minimum though.
And it just works. It's light, turns on fast, and is easy enough to navigate. Once scanning in the library worked it just grouped everything together and displays the artwork. My library is a mix of legit bandcamp and 'other sources' and everything has the correct metadata.
I've been aiming for flacs too whenever possible and they've all played fine as well. It's listening to music but the vibe is better because your listening habits aren't being funneled to corporations trying to make music worse.
It can also be used as a DAC to get more use out of it which I've played around with. And it has Bluetooth but I only plan on using it wired
It's okay could use a dedicated volume rocker and browsing true the menu's is a bit clunky but it plays most files. I never had the it crash on me but I noticed that some .ogg files are not displayed.
I don't know how long the battery lasts but I don't have to charge it very often. I use it almost daily but not extensive. use it when doing groceries, on my bicycle and in the train. I wouldn't worry about the battery.
