Looks like the work of that lovable scamp Barron Trump. What happened to boys will be boys?! Fl-Woke cameras strike again!

[-] solidheron@sh.itjust.works 2 points 14 hours ago

Dang the police are distributing useful information

[-] EpicFailGuy@lemmy.world 7 points 22 hours ago

LFG! take every single conviction to trial, Jury nullification. Literally no one wants these fucking things.

[-] sudoer777@lemmy.ml 38 points 1 day ago

I was in that same place and saw Netanyahu spraying yellow stuff out of a can, pretty sure it was him

[-] ms_lane@lemmy.world 11 points 1 day ago

Jared Kushner was with him joking around. I saw it.

[-] ignotum@lemmy.world 35 points 1 day ago

Gunning down unarmed civilians in the street for the crime of filming with a phone is completely fine, but non-destructive tampering with the police state surveilance systems is where they draw the line

[-] AstralPath@lemmy.ca 10 points 1 day ago

To be fair, spray foam would be destructive to the lens or lexan/glass cover over the lens. Spray foam is insanely messy. You really don't want it getting anywhere it shouldn't be. In this case, I can't think of a more appropriate target for the foam.

[-] psx_crab@lemmy.zip 24 points 1 day ago

Probably just the wind.

[-] NarrativeBear@lemmy.world 99 points 1 day ago

How would a Flock camera ID them, its only supposed to be able to read a license plate, right?!

[-] athatet@lemmy.zip 13 points 1 day ago

Literally the title of the post.

[-] Krudler@lemmy.world 37 points 1 day ago

I took apart a Flock camera and I found many ounces of pure gold & other valuable rare-Earth metals

They are literally filled with gold. Every single one is good for at least $30,000 of salvage metal and gold

[-] Abyssian@lemmy.world 14 points 1 day ago

You're right, it must be a cat doing this. I've seen many cats using spray foam to vandalize things recently, and the ones that have been kept in bags are especially bad.

[-] bizarroland@lemmy.world 110 points 1 day ago

I don't know, that kinda looks like bird poop to me. Are you sure a bird didn't poop on them?

[-] Siethron@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

Nah those a clearly wasp nests. Bet it's an endangered species too. Better leave them up there.

[-] atrielienz@lemmy.world 38 points 1 day ago

Those birds were with me at the vet the whole time.

[-] popekingjoe@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

Yeah and I was there. We were getting them deloused.

[-] TheTechnician27@lemmy.world 20 points 1 day ago

I think the cameras just ate something that didn't agree with them.

[-] StumblingWasabi@lemmy.today 8 points 1 day ago

Actually I am sure. It is definitely bird poop. No case here we can move on

[-] danc4498@lemmy.world 13 points 1 day ago

Find the person training birds to poop in flock cameras.

[-] TIEPilot@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

Birds aren't real, they are government drones too. Ever seen a baby pigeon? Cities have millions, they are all the same size.

Never any babies.

[-] ms_lane@lemmy.world 3 points 1 day ago

They are all the same size.

Wrong!

[-] SW42@lemmy.world 65 points 1 day ago

The whole town was my place for poker night at the time that happened. Must have been someone else.

[-] Neomega@lemmy.world 31 points 1 day ago

Yeah I was at his place for it and saw the entire town as well. Also we had a no pictures or GPS devices rule in place.

[-] determinist@kbin.earth 52 points 1 day ago

They're assuming someone sprayed them. Without seeing anyone doing it. Maybe this foam just happened.

Maybe it was aliens. Or bigfoot.

Who knows...

[-] ChicoSuave@lemmy.world 18 points 1 day ago

It's expanding foam. It only knows growth. It will seek to spread its borders in pursuit of some idealized pseudo-history idealized from stories the foam heard growing up. And Flock has no flags so it's free real estate.

[-] Mirshe@lemmy.world 3 points 16 hours ago

Ah damn, I knew I had missed the market for expansionist foam.

[-] LogicalDrivel@sopuli.xyz 12 points 1 day ago

Can a paintball be filled with expanding foam and still work?

[-] CaptSatelliteJack@lemy.lol 3 points 22 hours ago

Regular paintballs work just fine. Or so I've heard.

[-] Adulated_Aspersion@lemmy.world 7 points 1 day ago

Expanding foam like this uses 2 chemicals reacting with oxygen as a catalyst. While definitely possible to create, I would highly advise against this in a DIY application. In my very limited exposure to paintball, I have had some burst paintballs in the hopper and in the gun itself.

[-] SkaveRat@discuss.tchncs.de 6 points 1 day ago

I their system can't even catch this, it seems a bit useless.

As the city, I'd claim a refund

[-] pigup@lemmy.world 5 points 1 day ago

The city officials who would do this already got their own "refund" so......

[-] crandlecan@mander.xyz 5 points 1 day ago

Why would someone do such a thing!! ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ
