Music of the '50s

A community for the love of all music from 1950 to 1959.

RULES:

1. Follow ALL rules of the lemmy.today instance.
2. One song per post. Try not to post more than a few times per day (no flooding).
3. Posted songs should play in their entirety, automatically without needing to login or download anything.
4. Covers and remixes of older music released in this decade is allowed. Re-releases, live performances, and remasters by the original artist fall under the original song's release date.
5. Post title must include the song title, the artist or group, and the year this version of the song was originally release.
6. Other information in the post title, like performance type and song length, is encouraged.
7. If your post is a link, credit the original uploader.
8. If you have additional information about the song, like behind-the-scenes trivia, including that in your post is highly encouraged.
9. Discussion in each post must stay on the topic of that particular song. No political discussion, unless the song in question is explicitly related to such a topic.
10. No meta commentary or moderation discussion. Send a message to the moderator directly.
