I’m sorry. Gallowboob posts, no matter where or no matter how interesting, get downvoted. There are a few things I never want to see from Reddit. That is one of them.

[–] [email protected] 8 points 1 year ago (1 children)

Especially when it's a screencap of a screencap. I blocked gallowboob on reddit years ago and it made my experience there that much better.

I honestly forgot he existed, I did the same thing too, couldn’t stand how fucking terminally online the dude was, whoring it up for internet points

[–] [email protected] 3 points 1 year ago (2 children)

Dude, no. Gallowboob is going to take my kidneys if this post receives a downvote.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

I fucking knew it. Hang tight; we're going to get you out of there!

A Reddit post from a Twitter account in a Lemmy instance? Hmm...

[–] [email protected] 6 points 1 year ago (1 children)

I mean.. what else did you expect when you let the internet decide on something via votes?

Ironic that this is is the current state of social media.

Twitter via Reddit posted on Lemmy

The internet is going to internet. I don't think it is wasted effort though. Really this is like first place and actual first place.

[–] [email protected] 2 points 1 year ago

Honestly, that's not infuriating. It's just funny.

Blatant ripoff of the much better dog one.

They are both good. Obviously more work went into the realistic frog, but 40 hours is a stretch. It was probably more like 1-4 hours (saying as someone who's studied realism). The charming quality of the doodle frog is what made it stand out. It's smart.

This makes me think of that post about the Reddit comment complaining about the lack of 'style and design' on Lemmy.

I guess sometimes people just prefer a simple expression that gets the job done. Or lulz. lulz are popular too.

The drawing on the left is deciphering reality, the drawing on the left (left) is not, fine both ways, froggo frog knows what up
