I swear, when someone's talking to me now, I can barely understand what's happening. I know I'm no spring chicken anymore but I wish I was 16 again lol when I experience things it's like it's a memory or like I'm at the back of my head. It's hard to explain. Every thing here is getting gradually worse over the years. Suffice to say, I'm not looking forward to my 40's..

That being said I feel like I'm making a big deal out of something most women my age just get on with and put up with for the rest of their lives without complaining

I’m about to turn 40, no one I know has experienced this at 30, much less 40. You have something else going on, this isn’t aging, like we have all told you before.

[-] IEatCeleryAt7Degrees@lemmy.world -1 points 1 hour ago

Nothing is going on. I've had tests done and seen several doctors, nothing's wrong.

[-] blarghly@lemmy.world 2 points 1 hour ago

The fact that you have these symptoms indicates something is going on. If the tests say everything is normal, then they are missing something

[-] IEatCeleryAt7Degrees@lemmy.world -1 points 1 hour ago* (last edited 1 hour ago)

So much was tested and I've listed off the top of my head a bunch of things that were tested. What do you suppose they could be missing?

Without getting my magazine-thickness stack of lab result papers I had them print out, I’ve had TSH, hb1ac, potassium, sodium, urea, LH, FSH, prolactin, DHEA, testosterone, androgens, b12, folate, ferritin, full blood count, full white cell count, IgA, calcium, estrogen, ca-125, cholesterol, etc tested.

My white cells have been low since the testing began, but I was told this is normal because as you age your immune system declines.

[-] ryannathans@aussie.zone 1 points 30 minutes ago

None of these tests would have anything to do with gut disease, for example

[-] blarghly@lemmy.world 2 points 1 hour ago

I already read what you just copy and pasted. I'm not a doctor. I don't know what is wrong with you. But if they run tests and tell you everything is normal, then the appropriate response is to say "I don't care if the tests say everything is normal, I still feel like shit."

[-] IEatCeleryAt7Degrees@lemmy.world -1 points 1 hour ago

I'd say "I'm being silly and need to get on with it. Even my family have told me to stop complaining about my health."

[-] blarghly@lemmy.world 1 points 57 minutes ago

Of course your family has told you to stop complaining. Hearing someone moan about their poor health is annoying and boring. We don't want to hear about it either, hence all the comments you are getting here telling you to stop making posts trying to normalize your clearly abnormal condition. We don't know what is wrong with you and can't help you. You need to see a doctor. If the doctor tells you everything is normal, tell the doctor that they suck big fat donkey dick at doing their job and tell them to refer you to a doctor who isn't phoning it in.

[-] IEatCeleryAt7Degrees@lemmy.world -1 points 56 minutes ago

Changing doctors won't change the fact the lab results will keep coming back normal, as they have done over and over and over since summer last year.

[-] k0e3@lemmy.ca 10 points 3 hours ago

You've already made a similar post and people have told you to go see a doctor. What more do you want?

You really need to get checked out.

[-] Steve@startrek.website 9 points 3 hours ago* (last edited 3 hours ago)

Do you live alone? Do you have a carbon monoxide alarm? If not you should get one.

[-] searabbit@piefed.social 8 points 4 hours ago

Girl...I don't know what to tell you other than I have bad news for you. I have narcolepsy and this is my every day. This is definitely an undiagnosed medical condition for you.

[-] Zwuzelmaus@feddit.org 1 points 2 hours ago

Have you ever tried digital detox?

[-] Onomatopoeia@lemmy.cafe 82 points 8 hours ago

See a doctor - this ain't normal

Maybe do a sleep study. Lots of undiagnosed sleep apnea around this age. It gets worse over time. Even if you don’t snore.

edit: feeling déjà vu. Did i recommend this to you before? Either way, most of this is definitely not normal or age related.

[-] velma@sh.itjust.works 1 points 1 hour ago

They’ve posted this many times and each time insists this is normal for any woman over 30.

[-] hanrahan@slrpnk.net 2 points 3 hours ago

asked the gf, (she's 57) she said are your periods the same ? if not, perhaps peri menopause, you can be tested for it, either way at 32 not good, and perhaps urine and blood tests ?

FYI, this person has posted this same question over and over, and hasn't seemed to absorb any of the answers.

[-] slazer2au@lemmy.world 19 points 7 hours ago

And deleted all their comments too.

These are not symptoms of age, they're indicators that something is not ok in your body.

[-] la508@lemmy.world 6 points 5 hours ago

something is not ok in your body.

None of that has anything to do with you turning 30. Get a second opinion.

You keep posting this and everyone keeps saying it's not normal. It is a big deal. I'm over 30 and I kayak, hike, have infinite hobbies and still take courses in my spare time on everything from writing to chemistry to french. My friends are the same.

Find another doctor, and if that one doesn't solve it, find another doctor, and stop posting this. It's shitty to assume women are supposed to fall apart after thirty.

[-] lonefighter@sh.itjust.works 12 points 7 hours ago* (last edited 7 hours ago)

I'm a woman in my mid 30s. I work 48 hours a week, attend school in person, train jiu jitsu, and deal with all the normal life shit that comes with living alone and having to keep my home clean and my cats and I alive and fed. I also do all that while suffering from migraines and having ADHD.

Am I tired? Fucking yes. Am I managing? Also yes.

My life is so much better in my 30s than in my 20s. If any young woman is out there reading this, your 30s is not the threshold to decrepit haghood, it is fine.

Also, I don't drink energy drinks, or consume large amounts of caffeine. I also don't drink alcohol. I just eat moderately healthy, stay away from most fast food, and try to exercise every day, even if it's just going for a 30 minute walk because I'm too tired or too busy to do anything else.

Yeah, healthcare as a female sucks. My body started revolting in my late 30s and doctors didn’t care. I had to turn to the black market and solved my own problems (hormone related).
