Would be amusing to see the look on her face if a Muslim sat next to her on a plane and started preaching. Or a Hindu. Or a Christian from a different sect.

All these special snowflakes need to fuck right off and let the rational people live their lives in peace.

If I see this on a plane, I'm preaching the gospel of Linux even louder.

"Ed is the standard text editor."

Ed, the greatest WYGIWYG editor of all.

ED IS THE TRUE PATH TO NIRVANA! ED HAS BEEN THE CHOICE OF EDUCATED AND IGNORANT ALIKE FOR CENTURIES! ED WILL NOT CORRUPT YOUR PRECIOUS BODILY FLUIDS!! ED IS THE STANDARD TEXT EDITOR! ED MAKES THE SUN SHINE AND THE BIRDS SING AND THE GRASS GREEN!!

When I use an editor, I don't want eight extra KILOBYTES of worthless help screens and cursor positioning code! I just want an EDitor!! Not a "viitor". Not a "emacsitor". Those aren't even WORDS!!!! ED! ED! ED IS THE STANDARD!!!

    TEXT EDITOR.

When IBM, in its ever-present omnipotence, needed to base their "edlin" on a UNIX standard, did they mimic vi? No. Emacs? Surely you jest. They chose the most karmic editor of all. The standard.

Ed is for those who can remember what they are working on. If you are an idiot, you should use Emacs. If you are an Emacs, you should not be vi. If you use ED, you are on THE PATH TO REDEMPTION. THE SO-CALLED "VISUAL" EDITORS HAVE BEEN PLACED HERE BY ED TO TEMPT THE FAITHLESS. DO NOT GIVE IN!!! THE MIGHTY ED HAS SPOKEN!!!

It's always the demons when people disagree. Spiritual warfare. All that cliche crap. She had the freedom to speak, but not the freedom from consequences. Nobody wants to be stuck in a plane with a religious extremist if any kind.

So yeah I agree 100% I have nothing but hatred for these kinds of people

She knows what she's doing. This is the desired outcome. It's not about preaching the gospel. It's about supporting the narrative that Christians are persecuted, even if you have to deliberately generate the appearance of persecution through ridiculous behavior.

You want to know why people feel unsafe with a religious zealot on board an airplane? It's because in 2001 religious zealots hijacked three planes and murdered thousands of people and terrorize the entire nation.

    Fuck religion

These types of Christians always immediately jump into some persecution complex once they get some push back. Like it's a sign of the end timds. Real cult behaviour

It wasn't the message that made people uncomfortable, it was the delusional self-righteous weirdo, who wasn't going to shut up for the next few hours, preaching at people stuck in a tin can with her. A psycho like her, who thinks death is her big beginning, is capable of anything.

"Talking about Jesus is making people uncomfortable?"

No. YOU are making people uncomfortable. Christianity is not being asked to leave the plane, YOU are. Using blessings to attack people is like using perfume to hide your asshole.

Poor downtrodden evangelicals. It's only the dominant religion in the United States, controlling all three branches of government and having a virtual monopoly on media coverage.

Until we all bend the knee, they're just PERSECUTED.

If this person was Muslim or brown then they'd be dead or handcuffed to gurney in a hospital ICU.

Only white Christians are allowed to do this.

I love it when people pull the "First Amendment" card when a private company decides to refuse to give them service in response to their ridiculousness. Like that's not how any of that works, sorry.

They don't care. They want to look good to their ingroup. It's very performative.

Beyond the obvious bad faith (ironically), her sense of entitlement is really incredible. An all-American sense of entitlement.
