The image is a screenshot of a post on X (formerly Twitter) by user Spencer Hakimian, who writes, "Winning is not an option?" The post includes a quote-repost from an account called "Department of War - CFO" (@DoWCFO), which says, "It's not an option." This account's post features a poster-style image with a beige background. At the top, it reads "UNDER SECRETARY OF WAR - COMPTROLLER / CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER." Below that, the word "WINNING." is displayed in large, bold, blue letters. The image shows U.S. military personnel in combat gear exiting a military aircraft, with the aircraft's propeller visible in the background and a motion-blurred effect applied to the sides of the frame.

Why'd you take this screenshot through sunglasses?

Since when does dark mode/night mode adjust screenshots?

Screen brightness doesn't affect screenshots. It should be pulling the image straight from the buffer before any filters are applied. I've never seen a device take screen shots after effects are applied.

When they fire all the people who won't support their idiocy, this is what's left.

why does the department of warfightin' have its own CFO posting weak propaganda? like...

    1. what would an army CFO even do? shouldn't it have a congressional budget, and run itself out of that? Although the army is presumably generating profit via piracy, we all know that's going directly to the president

    2. Shouldn't the propaganda be posted by some sort of army marketeer instead? Since this is clearly not finance's core competency

I mean it's probably his staffers. I'd guess he wants it under his account to build up his personal influence.

Changes department name to department of war. Changes title to Secretary of war. Loses to Houthis.

Are those grunts being pulled into a singularity? If so, then yeah I’d say winning really isn’t an option! 😁

I hate double-speak nonsense. They literally make this shit to make their followers look stupid defending it, causing them to face social ostracization and now only be able to get validation from their in-group on this subject. Like every other subject where they make socially stigmatizing positions seem normal to have, and then reinforce with stigma of their own. I hate that I can see their shit so well and yet it still pisses me off cause there's basically nothing to do about it.

Well, when you run out of bombs etc. You are bound to end up losing. Then you have Hegseth checking boners to see if they are hard enough.
