The image is a screenshot of a post on X (formerly Twitter) by user Spencer Hakimian, who writes, "Winning is not an option?" The post includes a quote-repost from an account called "Department of War - CFO" (@DoWCFO), which says, "It's not an option." This account's post features a poster-style image with a beige background. At the top, it reads "UNDER SECRETARY OF WAR - COMPTROLLER / CHIEF FINANCIAL OFFICER." Below that, the word "WINNING." is displayed in large, bold, blue letters. The image shows U.S. military personnel in combat gear exiting a military aircraft, with the aircraft's propeller visible in the background and a motion-blurred effect applied to the sides of the frame.

why does the department of warfightin' have its own CFO posting weak propaganda? like...

  1. what would an army CFO even do? shouldn't it have a congressional budget, and run itself out of that? Although the army is presumably generating profit via piracy, we all know that's going directly to the president

  2. Shouldn't the propaganda be posted by some sort of army marketeer instead? Since this is clearly not finance's core competency

I mean it's probably his staffers. I'd guess he wants it under his account to build up his personal influence.
