Cute... they will simply "win" massively in the midterms, no matter the actual votes. Then the media will publish totally ridiculous stories "analyzing" the reasons. And the complacent population will majorily accept it.

Or, could it be that not all of us have shared in this supposed "success." Maybe "the West" doesn't describe a civilization or a culture, but a class. A class of greedy, genocidal sociopaths.
If they came out and honestly said "we will focus our antiterrorism efforts on suppressing workers' attempts to organize" their cult rubes might smell something fishy (but probably wouldn't).
