Don't complain. Let then nationalize all the companies making AI too.

We need social media to be treated as a public utility. Make all the content algorithms open source, and require Activity Pub.

It's because "nationalizing" in this context is still about putting more money into the pockets of the few. The country does not benefit from this. Only the rich.

It’s just a scam to cash out at sky-high valuations before the bubble pops. Trying to stick the fucking scam on the taxpayers. The OpenAI is being billed as a “gift” but no way Anthropic and X.ai are doing anything but selling.

Privatize the profits, socialize the losses.

And start a chain of government gas stations, too

The market is about to implode. They want the government bailout to be easier while lining their pockets in the meantime.

At this point, a 'not the onion' article about their administration would be something normal. We've come to expect absolute nonsense.

This is regulatory capture in action

  • Regulate AI- yes they should
  • Nationalize and use for propaganda- no they shouldn't

AI can find anything that's been used for training and tint or lie about any info given out. It has no ethics. The government controlling it, especially this government, would be fucking scary.
