I do know the year and day Constantinople fell, yes!

29 May 1453.

To be fair, the 29th of May is my birthday, but I'm still kind of excited that I know that one off the top of my head.

I was close! My somewhat educated guess was 1438.

I love Europa Universalis 4 (PC game), the game starts on November 11th, 1444 - a day after the Hungarian/Christian defeat in the battle of Varna, which paved the way for the Ottomans becoming a superpower.

That's a cool date for the game, because it allows the players to try to save a nearly doomed Byzantine Empire, or change the outcome of the 100 Year War for example.

Reminds me of the scene from Man vs Bee where all the pin codes are years of various sea battles.

I use my favorite classical composers and my favorite works for passwords. I figure the average bad guy isn't going to figure that out very quickly, unless he has a degree in music history, which is unlikely. I got a few other tricks to make it even harder, too.

@Grumpus_Maximus Most people say it was in 1453

Slightly smarter people know it was in 1204

Intellectuals know it was in 11204
