The show is actually pretty good, so it's a bit of a bummer when they create a throwaway game like this. I just hope neither of my kids notice it exists.

Damn I was expecting it to be a Souls like

Is this surprising to anyone? The target demographic is literally children. They don't exactly have the most discerning tastes or assessors of quality.

I feel like this is a weird take. Children will play good games and discard bad games. They may not do research before asking for a game from a beloved brand, but the same is likely true for many adults.

That may be true for older kids, but this show is meant for 3 year olds. You know, the ones who will have a blast with an unplugged controller. They'll be content seeing their favorite characters on screen.

My kid is 17 months and gets bored when nothing happens with his unplugged controller and goes for whatever else is nearby.

Lmao what are you talking about, I used to play Super Godzilla on the SNES when I was a kid, and we absolutely had good games

Kids game is for kids.

Australian gets annoyed that Australia is a shitty place to develop games.

How do you block Mastodon shit from showing up on Lemmy? I spent long enough avoiding microblog nonsense without it sneaking in here.

Honestly I’m getting a bit sick of this “bot” as well. I’ve blocked it now.

Man I was wondering why every single Aftermath article shows up on here.

What a pointless article.
