This is not Aussie news. They are raising prices by 20% worldwide due to ram price increases.

This is corporate news about apple, with a veiled advertisement. I don't know a out you, bit o cone here to try and avoid this junk clickbait.

If we followed your rationale, we'd have daily updates in the price of bananas. Aussies eat bananas, right?

Personally I think the comm is about things of particular interest to Australians, or about Australia. Not general interest items that may also include Australians. But, if people do find it useful, then, great for them.

Is that on top of the already existing 20 or so percent price hike already in AU for most electronics?

I haven't read the article but isn't AI supposed to make workers redundant and therefore everything should be cheaper, no ?

Overinflated AI-bubble >> overinflated RAM and storage pricing. And by “Overinflated AI-bubble” I mean anyone stupid enough to put money into the scam that is NFT v3.0

Thankfully, Apple does seem to support its iPads (the expensive models, at least) for a decent amount of time. My partner has a second generation iPad Pro that just received a security patch, 9 years after release. Her 7 year old iPad Mini is also still receiving security patches.

While it's kinda a bullshit article (as much as I love the Graun), it's also a tax for being in a cult
