Ms. Martin and a White House spokeswoman both said the White House was not involved in the selection of this company.

MAGA rewriting history again. When he was chosen for the job, Trump made it very clear that this was his chosen guy, a Maralago neighbor and member, and had done work for Trump previously.

Now they are acting like Trump had no role in the matter, and the NY Times is reporting on it like it's a new revelation, and repeating the MAGA line of bullshit that it was all above board.

So of all the companies in America they could have chosen, they happened to choose the same guy Trump was talking about, but not because Trump wanted him, but because only he could do it right.

And then it ends up totally fucked up. Still want to stick with the story that they were chosen because they were the best?

This has all the appearances of classic kickback scheme. Why isn't the NYTimes investigating that angle?

  5. No hate speech, slurs, celebrating death, advocating violence, or abusive language. This will result in a ban. Usernames containing racist, or inappropriate slurs will be banned without warning
