This guy has Obama Derangement Syndrome.
He is struggling to form new memories so he's stuck on Obama
They probably spent $100 on that and pocketed the millions. Corrupt as fuck.
Obama was last president a decade ago
Yeah but that no good Barrack "HUSSEIN" Obaam-a drove over to my pond and poured algae into it! I seent it!
I used to be into aquariums, and now I'm wondering how big a plecostomus could grow if released into a tank of that size?
"Obama shit my pants"
Let's make it a true reflecting pool and fill it with mercury. I don't know how that could go wrong.
And then throw trump in it.
Let's make it a true reflecting pool and fill it with mercury
Or shields
And just like that, an antique meme gets new life!

I doubt it was this, but I hope Obama left one minor prank on his way out, like a whoopie cushion, or an upside down desk drawer.
Obama leaves a letter on the desk for Trump's first day. It reads:
"Mr. President,
On this, your first day in office, congratulations again on your victory. Although it's clear to us both by now that we may never see eye-to-eye on many important issues, I want to express my hope for your success in this new position. Very few people will ever understand the challenges endured while carrying the weight of a nation, if not the entire free world, on one's shoulders like we do. Along those lines, I humbly offer you my full support, putting aside whatever differences we might have, in the interest of serving our shared and highest value, the well-being and advancement of this great country. Should you ever want it, I am prepared and willing to give whatever assistance possible with utmost diligence and discretion.
We're all counting on you. Good luck!
Sincerely,
Barack Obama
P. S. I left a little something in the upper right-hand drawer just to show there's no hard feelings."
After reading it, Trump opens the drawer and hundreds of marbles spill out along with a note card.

I think this why he's so mad at Obama.
I heard it was a ten pound glitter bomb but the rest of the story was the exact same.
Is that why it always looks like glitter makeup got rubbed off on him? I also assumed it was from much worse events.
I never stopped saying it lol
Do these people not understand that algae tends to grow in water unless the water is treated? For most previous administrations, this would be a rhetorical question, but in this case I’m honestly not sure.
Maybe we can fill the reflecting pool with Brawndo.
What the hell man? It's got what plants crave. Do you want super algae?
It's got to be better than toilet water though, right?
Literally a decade since that guy was president...
And that's why the reflecting pool was never painted pool-bottom blue, you fucking Orange
American families are struggling, the millennial generation may never get to participate in the American dream, and THIS is what their President feels needs his attention?
Not only that, but he fucked it up. He spent attention on it and made it worse than it was before. He's a talented fuckup
See also Iran, his cancelled "Freedom 250" concert, some bankrupt casinos, and pretty much everything else he ever did. And never forget Four Seasons Total Landscaping.
The Four Seasons Total Landscaping is my favourite fuck up of all time. The fact that they still held the press conference there and tried to pass it off as if it was planned is just hilarious! Best representation of the clown show going on over there. It's just a shame they're also fucking evil.
You literally cannot make this shit up.
Did they turn off the algae treatment system Obama installed?!?
They tore it all out.
It was painted for maximum algae growth. they could also install ozone generators and pumps to mitigate the algae growth. I don't know if it already has any pumping to maintain the movement of the water.
Obama did install ozone generators in 2012.
More info on the renovation.
Prior to the 2010-2012 renovations, it was filled with municipal water, and leaked 500,000 gallons a week, it lacked significant plumbing systems, and had to be drained twice a year and cleaned. It used about 30 million gallons of treated drinking water a year. It also lacked key accessibility features, like paved paths around the pool.
The renovations cost upwards of $34 million. They got the pool off of municipal water and connected it to the tidal basin. They made the pool shallower to use less water, and painted the bottom of the pool a darker color to enhance its ability to reflect the monument.
They didn’t manage to fix all the leaks but who cares when the water comes from the tidal basin that it leaks back into?
I think Trump is doing this to try to step on Obama’s accomplishments while giving hand outs (no bid contracts) to cronies.
It did not need to be done. He’s just an asshole.
They have about 2 weeks (until July 4th) to fix the algae, afterwards Trump couldn’t care less about the pool. It’s likely that Congress will have to step in or it’ll get kicked down the road for the next president to deal with.
Ha ha ha these pathetic MAGAts just can’t do anything. Losers supported by losers.
Thaaanks Obama...
Stupid US two-party system... in other countries the right-wing morons in government would at least have blamed the Greens for those algae.
“The nanobubbler technology has successfully destroyed the algae bloom that has plagued every pool reopening since 1922, most infamously, the Obama pool reopening that resulted in massive algae clumps taking over the pool’s surface,” the spokesperson said.
The spokesperson went on to claim the National Park Service was “actually maintaining” the pool “versus previous administrations.”
Add tons of bleach to make the algae water white, then add tons of blue food coloring. What could possibly go wrong?
That's not how bleach works but he doesn't know that either
i'm waiting for them to try dropping blue paint, or food coloring, or fabric dye into it......
