The movie Stand By Me based on the Stephen King novel “The Body”

Should watch it if you haven’t seen it yet. Stars quite a cast of four young actors.

[-] thanatotus@lemmy.ml 9 points 3 weeks ago

She looks 40 and i amazed she is not

[-] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 1 points 3 weeks ago

plastic surgery has aged her like 15years.

[-] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 7 points 3 weeks ago

Oh, wow, is that her wicked step-grandmother?

[-] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 1 points 3 weeks ago

she was TRUMPS "GF" for a few weeks until MTG got her hands into him, right before the election.

[-] panda_abyss@lemmy.ca 52 points 3 weeks ago

Wow, she looked pretty before she went full jigsaw.

I can’t believe she’s a similar age to me… she looks 20 years older now. That’s insane. I honestly had no idea.

[-] turtlesareneat@piefed.ca 33 points 3 weeks ago

I'm 43 and assumed she was at least 50, all that bad plastic surgery doesn't usually belong on someone younger than me. Yikes.

[-] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 1 points 3 weeks ago

have you seen karoline leavitt shes only like 29, but looks almost 20years older, granted she dint have plastic surgery yet.

[-] farmgineer@nord.pub 21 points 3 weeks ago

Assuming the yearbook photo (I suppose it is) is authentic, then I was surprised as well. I thought she was probably my age (mid-40s) or older. Nope, over a decade younger.

[-] tacoplease@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

She was mid even with makeup. Now she's just Jigsaw.

[-] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 1 points 3 weeks ago

she cant make any facial expression from that botox.

[-] Snapz@lemmy.world 37 points 3 weeks ago

Where she went:

[-] DarkFuture@lemmy.world 29 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

This is your face.

This is your face on conservatism.

Not even once, folks.

And this isn't even one of the worst examples of MAGA face. That award would probably go to whatever the fuck this is.

[-] Psythik@lemmy.world 12 points 3 weeks ago

It's absolutely blowing my mind that this cunt is younger than me. Class of 2011!? She's practically a kindergartener, yet she looks like she's 60!

[-] fritobugger2017@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago

For real, I am 26 year older than her and she looks older than me!

[-] veni_vedi_veni@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago

It's like those masks they wear in The Purge movies...

[-] ramenshaman@lemmy.world 4 points 3 weeks ago

She looks horrendous for someone that much younger than me

[-] chiliedogg@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

I just found out she was born in 93.

Evil can age a bitch.

[-] echodot@feddit.uk 3 points 3 weeks ago

Jesus she's younger than me. I never looked up so I always assumed she was like 50 or something. Plastic surgery is something else isn't it.

[-] criss_cross@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

Why did you attach a picture of a puppet in the bottom of your post?

[-] fenrasulfr@lemmy.world 1 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

Black hole sun, won't you come? And wash away the rain?

Black hole sun, won't you come? Won't you come, won't you come?

[-] LuminousLuddite@lemmy.world 23 points 3 weeks ago

ass of 2011

[-] Schmoo@slrpnk.net 13 points 3 weeks ago

When conservatives talk about keeping an open mind what they mean is hearing out the guy who says slurs all the time and the guy who says vaccines cause autism or that Ivermectin cures COVID as if they're intellectual equals to experts.

[-] Etterra@discuss.online 11 points 3 weeks ago

Maybe all the filler migrated up into her brain.

[-] Seppo@sopuli.xyz 15 points 3 weeks ago

Cosmetic surgery is more often than not a result of mental illness rather than the cause of it.

[-] Tollana1234567@lemmy.today 1 points 3 weeks ago

or trying to have the mar-a-lago face to appease trump.

Potato potato

It's either the experience or it's just that there is always something dark in some folks which they allow to pop up, or both. I had a friend who is a pretty sensitive person and gave me sage advice before when we were growing up. I have not spoken to him in years as we drifted apart and he emigrated. But on Facebook he is posting far right contents even though he himself is an immigrant and naturalised. Looking back, he may already have that streak in him. Although at the same time, environment and experience may have influenced him which I suspect is due to his father.

[-] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 5 points 3 weeks ago

That's been my experience, too. Every Trump supporter I know has extreeeeme daddy issues.

[-] green_goglin 7 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

In a sworn deposition Loomer’s dad stated that she brags about giving Diaper Donnie blowies. Woof.

[-] idiomaddict@lemmy.world 6 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

What a weird fucking quote to choose anyway. It’s basically:

I believe other people should have opinions for me.

This is what happens when you don’t have any ethics or internal guidance system.

[-] SnoringEarthworm@sh.itjust.works 18 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

I believe other people should have opinions for me.

is a whole new sentence compared to the quote in the picture.

I don't even need to know who the person is to call that out.

[-] idiomaddict@lemmy.world 3 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

It is, you’re right. I distilled what I took from her chosen quote, then put it in a quote section, but without direct quotation marks, because I was not trying to make you think the picture was inaccurate. I’ve edited it to be clearer.

The words are not the same, but that’s the meaning I get from her chosen quote.

[-] Cypher@aussie.zone 6 points 3 weeks ago

I took the quote to mean she was desperate for attention and that she won’t risk losing attention by daring to disagree.

[-] idiomaddict@lemmy.world 4 points 3 weeks ago

Well yeah, that’s basically letting other people have your opinions for you. If a part of you disagrees, but enough of you is willing to go along with it, you’re just fooling yourself if you think you still have a different opinion. Humans do all sorts of things to rationalize opinions we’re uncomfortable holding, including blaming others for behavior of ours which contradicts our self determined beliefs.

[-] Skyrmir@lemmy.world 4 points 3 weeks ago

Considering the rumors of her affairs, it's disturbing how young she actually is.

[-] rangber@lemmy.zip 3 points 3 weeks ago

Genuine curious, is it the money and fame? I don't think she truly believes all the BS she says.

[-] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 6 points 3 weeks ago* (last edited 3 weeks ago)

I kinda had a similar arc before I came to my senses. Radio show, political career in D.C. churning red meat. In my case, I grew up suuuuuuper religious, got into politics, found I was really good at it, and that was intoxicating in multiple ways and I chased it in the name of "look, I'm successful, my name is out there, people respect me" until it was eventually the source of all of my value/self-worth, identity, etc... Not to mention the source of my paychecks and what my entire resume was increasingly built around. You get locked in after some point.

So maybe something like that.

[-] rangber@lemmy.zip 3 points 3 weeks ago

How did you get to your senses?

[-] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 7 points 3 weeks ago

It's a long story, but the tldr is trying mushrooms in Amsterdam.

[-] rangber@lemmy.zip 4 points 3 weeks ago

You heard it boys! Loomer + shrooms = world peace. Let's get on it.

[-] ivanafterall@lemmy.world 4 points 3 weeks ago

Really though. Make sure she takes more than recommended because her sister-in-law and wife both bail and go to bed, and she takes both their portions because "it's not doing anything." Once she starts crying, you should notice it doesn't stop. For awhiiiiiile. That means it worked.

[-] banause@feddit.org 2 points 3 weeks ago

Right?!

Cliff hanger of the century.

[-] themaninblack@lemmy.world 2 points 3 weeks ago

Dude that is super interesting. Thanks for laying it out

[-] EtAl@lemmy.dbzer0.com 2 points 3 weeks ago

And a few years after that, she hit on a mask-off nazi. I wish I could find that clip. It is bizarre.
