I would suggest you wipe clean your camera before taking photos. Most of my friends saying “my iPhone photos looks so baaaad” while there’s smudges on the camera glass

Astigmatism be like:

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Do you have a lens screen protector

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Wait, what’s wrong with this?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

It looks like your iPhone may have recently gotten lasik eye surgery. It hopefully will heal on its own in 6ish months!

I'm pretty sure imaging sensors don't just degrade over time, much less over just 2 years. Looks to me like you have too much oily crap on your lens. Clean it.

Same with the 14 pm

Your lens has finger grease on it. Wiping it with your shirt might be good enough in daylight, but you need alcohol to get it off at night. The lenses and screen start out with an oleophobic coating that wears off in a year or less. Always use a screen protector and lens protector. Because you can replace those when they wear.

I don't own an iPhone, but your best bet would be to clean your lens using a microfiber cloth. Open the camera app, point it towards street light (at least 2 sources of light), and then wipe the camera lens from a single direction. Now you will see the lines change direction, do this multiple times until the lines become faint. Dont randomly rub your camera lens, do it gently from one direction to other. Sometimes, if it is too dirty (or greasy), use a drop of water and then rub it and then use a dry microbifer and gently wipe it.

iphone camera lenses are made of crystal sapphire. they are incredibly scratch resistant and very hard to scratch. u can use your cotton tshirt and wipe it with whatever. little bit of water and a tshirt or non lint like anything will do just fine. the lens is a 9 on the mohs hardness scale.

The recent update did something with the camera quality. My iPhone and my friends iPhone 14 Pro also has this problem.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Our phones too old they developing astigmatism with us as they age with us lol

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

13 pro max here, bought new on launch, still no problems with camera

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Just looks like your lens needs cleaned tbh...

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Do you have a case or cover of some sort over the camera lens? Any extra layer the light has to pass through could cause this, even just accumulated grime on the lens

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Maybe take it to the eye doctor cause that shit clearly got astigmatism 💀

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Do you have a camera protector over your lenses?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Your phone’s camera has an astigmatism.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Looks like it had lasik, right there is reason #1 to stay away from those hacks!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

This is silly but.. have you tried cleaning the lens? My 13 pro also does this but wiping off the oils and whatnot that gets on it always fixes the problem lmao.

Or just add a subtle smear of nose grease if you want your photo to look like this.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

This is like the number one fix for bad photos for people on phones. They just pull their phones out and take pictures. Like, just take 1 extra second to clean the lens with your shirt. Doesn’t matter if you’re using the lenses on the back or the selfie camera. Clean them!

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

A quick visit to the Genius Bar and they’ll have you sorted.

Clean your lens and lower your exposure when shooting

If you have one of those camera lens protector things, take it off

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Camera has astigmatism and needs to be cleaned and if you have these "protectors" take them off because theyre the culprit of the camera astigmatism

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

I see like this normally, is this not normal?

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

Lens flare, it happens if the lens is not perfectly clear but honestly those crosses look nice, there’s filters to get them for professional cameras.

[–] [email protected] 1 points 11 months ago

looks like my eyesight lol. on a serious note, cleaning the lenses might help. i regularly clean my phone so you could always consider that
