What. The. Actual. Fuck.

It should be legal to throw a million bricks at someone that says this shit, there's no other solution.

There social stigma to condemning the Haitian revolution?

There is social stigma to mentioning it all.

Best I could find is this guy who helped a couple dozen people get to the other side of Warsaw from the ghetto during an armed resistance.

https://time.com/5710303/nazi-collaborator-trials/

You might corroborate it with other stories of survivors being... less than enthused about Nazi collaborators. Caring about the gender of a Nazi is a bit woke for my blood.

It is also seemingly independent from stories of the Warsaw uprising. I can't imagine helping all these people, including a woman who was leading the resistance, escape was for the purpose of going on a rampage or a hit list - especially seeing as how it was an extermination camp because I know I personally would rather not be exterminated.

But also I think I misunderstood the premise. I think they're saying that IF that's what the Warsaw Uprising was doing THEN it would be parallel to October 7th. And it's at that point I'm in over my head citing UN reports on sexual violence, wether Warsaw ghetto survivors are somehow more chaste, how innocent people are having a concert right outside a concentration camp, how many casualties are created by Palestinians vs Zionists, Zionists having foreknowledge and wanting a pretext, etc. And I'm not sure anyone does or should give a fuck how I synthesize these things. Because I don't exactly factor these things in when I go genocide is... le bad and you should be compelled to stop if you're doing it. What I do factor in is how every peaceful attempt fell on deaf ears and the riot is the language of the unheard.

holy shit even my highest fever dream parody wouldn’t be that fucking radioactive

my imagination is insufficient for this world

[-] daniyeg@hexbear.net 68 points 1 day ago* (last edited 1 day ago)

does it not bother them that at the time the nazi propaganda about jews was exactly saying stuff like this? does that not invite a deeper reflection on their view of palestinians or even an "are we the baddies?" thought? nothing?

[-] Philosoraptor@hexbear.net 25 points 1 day ago

Curtis Yarvin wants to be the baddie. He's an edgelord.

[-] TheBroodian@hexbear.net 34 points 1 day ago

They would have to know a thing in order to reflect upon it in the first place

[-] BeanisBrain@hexbear.net 41 points 1 day ago

Libs and reactionaries are united in their love of genocide. Only the left opposes it on principle.

[-] Blakey@hexbear.net 16 points 22 hours ago

Libs and reactionaries

same-picture

[-] Johnny_Arson@hexbear.net 62 points 1 day ago

Holy fuck one of the top liked replies. It's just Nazis all the way down in that thread.

Post revolution the very first activity on the list is turning off and smashing up the datacenters that were formerly hosting X. They're too far gone.

[-] tuxiqae@lemmy.dbzer0.com 38 points 1 day ago

Not before all those fascists are revealed.

[-] GenderIsOpSec@hexbear.net 65 points 1 day ago

scalding hot take here, but i think no crime justifies genocide

how about u

[-] hellinkilla@hexbear.net 6 points 20 hours ago

The OP is so confused and turned around its hard to tell what is even being said if you dont already know the mindset of the poster.

Literally when you read Israels ICJ defense against the crime of genocide, a small amount of it is refuting the claims, but mostly it can be summarized as "look at what kind of monsters they all are", and "the crime of genocide can never be justified but..." I guess they need something to pad out their weak ass refutations, which rely on Free Press type bullshit.

Hotter take, and it might actually be a hot take for this site: ask any of these people what they think of the morgenthau plan post wwii and you'll quickly see whose genocide they see as bad.

(just to clarify: the hot take is that the morgenthau plan counts as genocide)

[-] Carl@hexbear.net 12 points 1 day ago

I always interpreted Morgenthau Plan posting as a form of shitpost, I'm not sure people here would support killing 25 million Germans via starvation, post ww2 or no.

[-] TraschcanOfIdeology@hexbear.net 13 points 1 day ago

Hard to know sometimes around here. In any case, if someone shows horror at the morgenthau plan and still supports or tries to both-side or justify the Palestinian genocide, you know they're a white supremacist and a nazi.

[-] moss_icon@hexbear.net 21 points 1 day ago

Every single lib talking point about Hamas and then some could be true and I’d still think you were evil for supporting the genocide of Palestinians.

[-] redparadise@hexbear.net 27 points 1 day ago

but what if they're EVIL?

[-] kittenzrulz123@lemmy.dbzer0.com 67 points 1 day ago

This isn't some random right winger, this is Curtis Yarvin the creater of the Neo-Reactionary movement (NRx) which is supported by people like JD Vance and Steve Bannon. This person is absolute reactionary filth, the definition of someone with a truly dark twisted mind that should be studied so we can understand what insanity looks like.

[-] Count042@lemmy.ml 2 points 6 hours ago

Yeah, I'd call him a Nazi, bit he'd probably take it as a compliment while agreeing.

[-] chirospasm@lemmy.ml 29 points 1 day ago* (last edited 22 hours ago)

Thanks for pointing it out -- moment I saw his name, the flood of feudalistic, monarchistic assholery that this dude spews lit up the ol' brain projector in a whiff of dust and heat, and I about blinded myself with rage at the image. This guy is the worst.

Surpised that people are commenting so casually on a post that features him. Your comment should be higher or pinned.

[-] SkingradGuard@hexbear.net 20 points 1 day ago

Wait they actually call themselves reactionary? Lmao

[-] infuziSporg@hexbear.net 2 points 3 hours ago

This one calls himself "Mencius Moldbug".

[-] Damarcusart@hexbear.net 47 points 1 day ago

Holocaust denial will probably be the default view in the US in about a decade, the right wing is fully gearing up to pin all the blame of this Iran war onto Israel.

[-] altkey@lemmy.dbzer0.com 36 points 1 day ago

At times like this I think we can reduce replies to just a link to the Pink Floyd's "The Wall" recording on some non-hostile platform

[-] GrouchyGrouse@hexbear.net 37 points 1 day ago

Zionists have misused and abused the lessons and legacy of WW2 to such a degree that if they mention it you are entitled to disregard whatever they are saying. Whatever point they think they are making they are not.

[-] Evilsandwichman@hexbear.net 14 points 1 day ago

We're at a point where zionists are literally coming out and saying 'never again' was just for Jewish people, which is literally implying genocide is okay for everyone else

[-] Pentacat@hexbear.net 2 points 7 hours ago

The Los Angeles Holocaust museum apologized for tweeting out “never again means never again,” so we’re past the point.
