the hexgun

doohickey drone defense

And if that don't work, use more gun!

They're AKs, they'll probably work if you shot them from inside a mud pit
People in Texas be like:

Not a bad idea but I think reloading it is gonna be a pain, if you don't get the drone before you blow your entire load you're pretty much gone.
solution: bring multiple hexguns with you
Folks we're going back to GAZ-AAA
That metal storm gun that was basically a barrel pre- loaded with bullets and charges that were electrically triggered in sequence to fire iirc something like a million rounds in a minute would probably be pretty useful but i think that got thrown in the heap with the other early 00s wunderwaffen
The google lying machine is basically like "they don't use it because it takes a long time to reload" but for the western MIC you'd think that'd be a feature, just make more and more barrels why bother reloading them
Right, they're just cartridges. Ship the barrel back to the manufacturer for a $5k rebate towards your next purchase
I remember Battlestar Galactica did the same thing. How do you stop a hostile fighter from getting too close to you in 3D space? Fill that space with flak.
