I received the shipping email this morning. ETA: Monday.
Framework
Discussion around the Framework mission of building products that last longer by making them upgradeable, customizable, and repairable. Consumer electronics can be better for you and for the environment.
For me I have got UPS’s mail in the status of label created but no framework status of shipping, I am in Netherlands
I'm in Batch 5 too and I received my "Shipping now" E-Mail earlier today. Now I'm waiting impatiently for it to arrive in Austria.
Edit: 7 7840U with just 32 GB RAM already installed. No charger, no OS, no SSD.
Same here. Batch 5 AMD 7 in germany.
Probably we are the last ones of Batch 5.
I wouldn't worry yet. We should start worrying when someone from Batch 6 gets his device before us.
Batch 1 here. For me it took one day from payment to shipping confirmation. Maybe you are more to the end of the orders. Also here in Germany get ready for a ride with FedEx. Took me a week to get my package from them after they missed me at home by 5 minutes on their first try.
Belgium here got billed Monday. But no shipping mail so far. I ordered on August 14th. (The day it became available in Belgium)
just wait
Batch 5 here. I already have mine. I would assume Framework has it well in hand and it might be an issue with international shipping
According to the forum most of batch 5 is still waiting for the shipping notification. But it's all perfectly in time isn't it? They say 1-3 weeks from the prep mail, so that is until november 23. And in the payment complete mail they also day within a few business days. I mean I really feel you, I have the exact same situation, but this is nothing out of the ordinary. And about the batch 7 prep mail, I'm pretty sure they are sending those out a bit earlier, due to their current support state. They need the time to handle change requests.
Same here. Got billed today, no shipping yet. US.
Framework has said that they don't strictly follow the batch order, they prepare and ship laptops as they're build and parts are available. So they might have a temporary shortage or queue for the 7840U mainboard or any of the other part you selected (expansion cards, bezel, keyboard, ...).
I'll always suggest sending Framework's support team a quick message ahead of posting on Reddit or on the Framework community forums; Imagine support needing to check emails, ticket queues, internal discussions/chats, and multiple forums and social media sources, and I know I'm already have a hard time tracking only a ticket queue in my work place!
That said, I'm happy to read that you received the shipping email and that your gear is on its way :)
