One of my daughters had to be blindfolded and put under a very bright blue light for several hours or maybe it was overnight, which is not a nice thing to see your newborn go through.

I used to feel this was a tragedy. Now I feel that those parents aren't intelligent enough to have children. They deserve what they got. The child died but it was probably going to of something else stupid at some point anyway. It's very cheap. In Australia it costs ~9AUD (~7USD) for a single dose vial with oral syringe without subsidies.
