"Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion"

It's right there in the first line of the Bill of Rights.

Right, so they'll just do it without Congress.

The jokes on everyone who still acts as though they're dealing with rational people in good faith, instead of mentally ill religious extremists, sociopaths, psychopaths, and pedophiles.

Whether they were inherently susceptible, or indoctrinated through psychological warfare, is largely irrelevant. You can't deprogram tens of millions of people, especially while the propaganda apparatus remains.

Does anyone remember the New Testament verse where Jesus tells the gay people to all fuck off and that his followers should persecute them? All I remember is him clearly saying to 'love thy neighbors' a lot - pretty gay tbh.

I did read the bible many decades ago, can't remember any such verses - will admit it was a total snooze fest though, so I might've missed it or forgotten.

You think it won't be women next? Then nonwhites? Then non-christians? Then the Final Solution?

    We've seen this movie before.

its not the job of the government to obey Christian values. its the job of the government to protect its people, and if those people are gay, the government is OBLIGATED to make their life better like any other citizen.

Meanwhile, the sheep and the goats part just gets ignored

34 “Then the King will say to those on his right, ‘Come, you who are blessed by my Father; take your inheritance, the kingdom prepared for you since the creation of the world. 35 For I was hungry and you gave me something to eat, I was thirsty and you gave me something to drink, I was a stranger and you invited me in, 36 I needed clothes and you clothed me, I was sick and you looked after me, I was in prison and you came to visit me.’

37 “Then the righteous will answer him, ‘Lord, when did we see you hungry and feed you, or thirsty and give you something to drink? 38 When did we see you a stranger and invite you in, or needing clothes and clothe you? 39 When did we see you sick or in prison and go to visit you?’

40 “The King will reply, ‘Truly I tell you, whatever you did for one of the least of these brothers and sisters of mine, you did for me.’

I'm sure they'll do some backflips to say "the brothers only mean people I like", but then there's the "who is my neighbor?" part.

29 But wanting to vindicate himself, he said to Yeshua, “Then who is my neighbor?”

30 Yeshua replied, “A certain man was going down from Jerusalem to Jericho. He was attacked by robbers, who stripped him and beat him. Then they left, abandoning him as half dead. 31 And by chance, a kohen was going down that road; but when he saw the man, he passed by on the opposite side. 32 Likewise a Levite also, when he came to the place and saw him, passed by on the opposite side. 33 But a Samaritan who was traveling came upon him; and when he noticed the man, he felt compassion. 34 He went up to him and bandaged his wounds, pouring on olive oil and wine. Then setting him on his own animal, he brought him to a lodge for travelers and took care of him. 35 The next day he took out two denarii[b] and gave them to the innkeeper, saying, ‘Take care of him. And whatever else you spend, upon my return I will repay you myself.’ 36 Which of these three seems to you a neighbor to the one attacked by robbers?”

37 And he said, “The one who showed mercy to him.”

Then Yeshua said to him, “Go, and you do the same.”

But they're not sincere, so the text doesn't matter.

I'm a Christian, and I hate this movement so much. I want to hate the people, trust me, but Jesus said to love, so I must. Seriously though, separation of church and state, now please.

It's pretty clear trump is working for something bigger and the goal is just to wear America down to near collapse so something else can be built in the rubble.

It's also clear most Americans have had way too much privilege in their lives to even live like real humans or care. God bless consumerism, escapism, and denial.

It feels like a nation that pimps its people then offers them drugs to escape until they get pimped again.

First they came for the Communists And I did not speak out Because I was not a Communist

Then they came for the Socialists And I did not speak out Because I was not a Socialist

Then they came for the trade unionists And I did not speak out Because I was not a trade unionist

Then they came for the Jews And I did not speak out Because I was not a Jew

Then they came for me And there was no one left To speak out for me

This is what America voted for, because that scary brown lady was just too ARROGANT.

Wait until there's no more naked people on the teeveez, and only three-two beer at your local store. The average American commuter will blame Democrats.

It's fair, but lets not forget the tom foolery that happened with Biden after the first debate. Add to that the religious zeal tRump's base puts out for him.

Biden should have stepped aside after 1 term like he promised (he really seemed decrepit) and let Harris hit the ground with good running space to seperate herself from Biden while also being able to patch up after a performance like she put on in the second debate.

As an antitheist, I’m fine with religion, as long as it’s only ever inflicted upon those who have made an individual conscious, non-coercive choice to be subjected to its doctrine.

The moment it’s used to justify inflicting anything upon someone without their consent, it needs to be locked in an air-tight canister, with viewing windows, to serve as entertainment, and a warning to other vacuous ideologies.

The evangelicals love their old testament violent stuff. They actually want the world to end, think the jews will help and that's why they support zionists.
