This is really weird.

Why are we talking about congress voting against a measure saying that Trump can’t engage in something that the constitution clearly requires congress vote for a war before he can engage in it.

Even if the vote passed it would only be symbolic, no? War requires an affirmative vote from congress not a no vote for an anti declaration, or whatever the fuck this is.

This vote is simultaneously stupid and revolting. I’m just glad they are letting us know who to vote against.

Vote against these asshats no matter who. It don’t matter if they are blue or not. Fuck the democrat party too.

This also sounds like bullshit a bullshit vote for corporate media to lie to us and say that a war with Cuba is somehow legal now that this vote happened.

War requires a declaration of war from an affirmative vote in congress, not an anti-against war vote. It’s pretty clearly written.

& if Netanyahu's "Israel" wants Cuba broken, then .. that would extend to this, too..

Israel has absolutely no interest in Cuba in any way, shape, or form. If Israel has kompromat on Fetterman, which it doesn't even need since the guy would do anything they asked him anyway, they're not going to direct him to go against Cuba unless the US power elite asks them to do it. The USA is still in charge in this relationship. Israel has developed some of its own interests for survival and has to coerce powerful people in the US sometimes, but Israel is not setting the Cuba agenda.

Not really. Iran is an existential problem for Israel because of its ability to project force. Cuba is an indirect existential problem for the USA because it might inspire the USA working class to become an existential threat to the oligarchy. These are very different.
