Are we sure that the script is not AI generated as well, i. e. contains hallucinations?
I'd be wary of any AI generated history video, history is already extremely easy for bad faith actors to deliberately misinterpret, and AI is going to compound those sources with AI hallucinations. If they were using AI to generate the video, I would think it is unlikely that they'd still be willing to put in the effort to put in proper research. A lot of what you might "learn" from a video like this could just be completely untrue, especially if it seems to be teaching you a lot of "new" things that you never knew about before.
I'm not watching the video but why is this in slop? Is it something to make fun of? Your description makes it seem like you agree with it
i'd say ai slop is automatically slop
It's AI-generated slop. Youtube history channels are mostly slop now.
But some of them are actually good. I watched a history of the Mongols that was shockingly comprehensive because it utilized all available sources.
what was something that you learned?
Bukharin, and that the bureaucratic role of Secretary turned out to be more powerful than hard power roles of commanding men with guns.
I found a YouTube link in your post. Here are links to the same video on alternative frontends that protect your privacy:
Slop.
