What kinds of video games are you playing? Very few of mine are mindless, and are almost always the other way around.
Games are meant to take your mind off whatever you got going on in life so in general any game can disrupt mindfulness
Or it can replace it with an entirely different yet just as intense form of mindfulness. Have I introduced you to FTL: Faster Than Light, Factorio, S.T.A.L.K.E.R., or Noita? It really depends on the game.

Pretty sure that's what gooning is for but it's not without its toll both mental and physical
Count all the white objects in your house, then roll on the floor at least 4 full turns, then stand up and stare at the last white object you counted, and focus on what parts of your body you feel aching due to rolling on the floor.
Would never work for me. I removed all white objects in my apartment as part my time in self-crit after my temp ban for giving a Spike Lee movie too low a score.
