Everclear and Beck are two bands I like to think of as emo music before that style existed. Enjoy this classic that had me so deep in my feels I decided to share it with internet strangers

Emo started in 1985 as a branch of punk. Emotional punk is what emo is. The emo you're thinking of is probably 2nd or 3rd wave emo. Sunny day real estate came out in the early 90s and rites of spring came out in 1985, check em out they good
